Hi Mike,

I just picked up a nice addition to my crusades collection. The resting camel (K&C ME002) Vichy French Camel Corps. It's a recently discontinued WWII pair, with French officer and resting camel wearing a saddle, etc. The camel is really neat and quite appropriate for the era of the crusades. I'll try to sell the French guy on ebay. It turns out that Capitolron acquired the same piece for the same reason some time ago. This pair is still fairly easy to find. I got a very good price by bidding on ebay from Sager's Soldiers. It is apparently not a very popular piece right now, since I was the only bidder. I got it at my first bid price of $49.00. Sorry, Just noticed your posts on my profile, Happy new year to you as well!
yes I do prefer the Figarti units, I like the size better and the cargo is removable which it isn't in the K&C version. I'm still not totally sold on the Figarti figs.There just not up to K&C standards but the figures in the K&C Chevy's are too small. The figarti figs match up just fine with the K&C SAS sets. I think the figarti vehicles and the K&C figs is the way I'd go. but I ended up with both and I had built my own Chevy and Jeeps as well with modified figs before they were released. So as you can see I'm a real fan of the line.
Your doing some great work with the dioramas, keep it up.

Hello Mike: Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I have not started any diorama yet but did get more trees at Michaels. I have to clean my work area and then I will make another mess. I been trying to learn more on photo posting and maybe some albums. My son is going to help me. He is off for winter school break and is an information technology and high school computer teacher. I hope he gets me back on track. John
