    Has wbritains lost its way

Just saw the new WW1 pieces myself, they look interesting. Hopefully I will see them in the flesh (or metal) at the London show in June, I hope so. The photos in the brochures do not do the items justice at all in my opinion. If they do expand the marching infantry then like you, I will be...

Sierra Toy Soldier - Zulu War - Limited Edition - Third Set

Thanks zulucollector. I am confused now myself :-) Will wait and see what I can find out in London. At least I may be able to buy the exclusives and not have to pay the extra costs now.

Great, for you chaps Stateside :-) Will there be some at the next show in London at all? Be great to see pre productions for the catalogue due out later in the year, guessing the Britains guys here will have loads of new pieces for us to veiw? Great stuff. And are you able to bid for these pre...

Sierra Toy Soldier - Zulu War - Limited Edition - Third Set

Just seen this as I have been away. Why is he holding the bayonet? What very poor sculpting and quality control IMO and I also see the items will be on the Grey Goose stand at the show. Why not on the Britains stand and available from The Guards shop people? (that is how I have normally pre...

    Has wbritains lost its way

Got to agree. The Brunswickers looked pretty boring on the catalogue but when I saw them I eneded up spending more than I had planned. Such a mix up with Britains. Good and bad, very odd.

    Has wbritains lost its way

I am quite new to the forum so I am catching up on some older posts so apologies. Been a Britains collector myself for several years and I have noticed the drop off of new items and late delivery issue too. This year JJD have had around £600 or so off me but Britains have had only about £250...

    Britains,Royal Amouries-Leeds-Retail Launch Weekend-26-27th April 2014.

Unlike you Steveo, I had a decent nights sleep but did travel all the way up from London early on Saturday morning for a day out. Met some nice folks, one of which told me to get posting on treefrog, so here goes! Agree with you that the shop display was dismal, as were the staff when I asked...

ZULU WAR British Gun and Limber Team at ModelZone

I saw the limber set at Magpie in the UK at the weekend and the Britain's chap told me November also, for the same reason that Richard gave you guys in the USA so this all sounds accurate. It is a stunning piece for sure on is on my list!

    Britains collectors club modelezone vouchers

Hi Guys, I have not been on the forum for a while as I have been away working and have also been adding to my militarily collection but reading this topic really kind of hit me. Like other club members, I have been hit with the same obstacles and changes, something that was bound to happen...

W Britains Collectors club - what are the benefits?

Got to agree with Richard here. In my experience to date Katie and everyone at Bachmann have done a superb job since taking the brand on. Also, the club is outstanding value for money. How much does a newspaper subscription or magazine subscription cost per year?

W Britains decision on who to suppy

I am sure that if anyone's current or favorite on line store ceased to be able to sell Britain's figures a quick call or e-mail to the new distributor, Bachmann Europe PLC, would see them able to supply you the names of many good quality retailers with a strong web presence. Some of us may have...

Britians At the London Soldier Show

Hi Guys. The reason for the difference in shading and light is due to the pieces that were on display on the Britain stand being their pre production pieces. The actual items will be all the same colour when released and ready I am told. They sure looked good.
