    STG44's collection

More Britains Herald Knights from when I was a kid. The polearms depicted were Halberds whose blades have not survived the years of storage.

    STG44's collection

I have recently become reinterested in collecting toy soldiers. My collection is small compared to most people here. Due to my space constraints I expect it to stay relatively small and restricted to individual figures that interest me. In looking around on this forum, I marvel at some of the...

    Hello from STG44

Thanks, folks. In the next few weeks I will get to it. For the most part the Britains and Timpo toy soldiers that I have from the 1970s are in very good shape.

    Hello from STG44

That is amazing. That is a great looking display. You've inspired me. Most of my Britain's and Timpos are boxed up in my house. I think what I will try to do is unpack them and post pictures of my collection gradually over time.

    Hello from STG44

Thanks. Is there really any interest in me posting my small collection? A lot of it is 1970s vintage Britains that was bought for me when I was a kid.

What Toy Soldier items Have You Acquired in The Last 2 Weeks ?

Forgive me, I am new here and don't really have the best setup for displaying anything. They are on a high shelf where they are safe from my dogs and cat. I just got back into Toy soldiers have been on a Britain's kick. On the right we have a Marine with a Thompson SMG from the Banana Wars in...

    Getting restarted with Toy Soldiers

That's great to hear. I am amazed that Walgreens even had them. They are not my normal drug store. I was in one recently and they only had about four different deodorants--none of which were the brand I use. Stores seem to calculate their shelf space by the inch in regards to profitability...

    Wind River - 2017

I really enjoyed this movies. Someone I spoke to in the firearms industry tells me that due to the film the Marlin lever action rifle that Jeremy Renner's character used is very hard to get and the prices have shot up. The 45-70 caliber is a powerful firearm but I would not expect it to...

    Chicago pics

That's fantastic. Thanks for posting that. The third figure over is a new figure. It is listed in the new catalog as 25075--German Infantry NCO with PPSH-41, and is based on the James Coburn's Character from the movie Cross of Iron. I have just gotten back into buying Britain's figures after...
