    LONDON 6th DECEMBER 2008

Just checking National Couch and Rail websites to make travel plans. No way to get to show early and leave late, would be easier to fly from the States! Cost high, multiple changes with long stop overs, I wouldn't mind if it wasn't only 110 miles or so. At least Mussolini made the trains...

Sorry have been meaning to ask what was the source of this great colour illustration?

    Jacobit buildings

Has anybody who talked to John at the show got any info. It would be great if he would turn his model making skills on to producing a croft such as that at the Culloden battle site, maybe a few poor farmstead buildings for the search after the battle such as in Kidnapped by R L Stevensen .

    Advertising material

Am I right in thinking that there are postcards and fliers of some of Johns ranges in some of the photos from the show? I've never seen any cateloges or leaflets by JJ Designs before only third party adverts. His web site is great but is not up dated as often as his releases come out...

Should there be a LAW against it!

Oh Boy! Andy and Gordon should not be allowed to make grown men cry. Just take a look at the special projects page on the K&C web site. The Airfield, the Bridge the Gun Boat. I may never be able to own a War Bird but if a range of aircrew and vehicles such as the Austin Tilly and Fuel Truck...

New John Jenkins releases for October.

Love all the releases lets say that at the start. Can we expect more crew for the 8pdr and equipement, thats alot of gun for three guys. It needs shot, buckets hand spikes etc. Any experts out there like to advise on what tools are needed in the field to use this weapon during this period...

    Is it Christmas yet.

It can't be long before the Christmas set makes an appearance.:) What has Father Christmas AKA Andy got for all use good boys & girls in Toy (soldier) Land? Has his mind be working over time to think of a knock out theme for this year, the last one was the best so far IMO! It may require...

    Troops landing at Quebec

As mentioned on the show thread I would love John to do more amphibious sets. IMO He is a master at this. Wolfe being rowed ashore. Troops being landed before the battle. In other ranges maybe more Whale boats with different crews. Maybe some Indian scouts with the Rangers. Native americans...

    AWI Wishlist

As posted on another manufacturers thread. How about Washington crossing the Delaware. It would make a great limited edition.

New JJD Series at Chicago Show

IMO John Jenkins is the best for amphious warfare of the period. So imagine his take on Washington crossing the Delaware! Troops being landed by the Navy for Quebec are a must. Wolfe quitely reading as he is rowed ashore etc

    Market Garden Heavy weapons

Medical Evac Jeep or Figure set would obviously get the thumbs up from the old RAMC. After all more VC's than almost any other regiment.:D

    Market Garden Heavy weapons

Not a demand, more a question. As we have a para carrying mortar bombs when can we expect a mortar. There is a famous photo of a british mortar team at work, and figures to recreat this image would be great. Also am I right in thinking that the Paras had the air portable american howitzer with...

    Ranger Whaleboat by JJD

When I was a kid I had a set that I loved of Atlantic plastic figures of either Davy Crocket or other frontiersmen with a big log raft, canoes etc. It had great play value.

    Ranger Whaleboat by JJD

I have both canoe sets and think they are great. The figures are so animated. They tell a real story. The whale boat even as an unpainted master looks even better. The only fault if it is one with the canoe sets is that on both of mine the paint had chipped below the hands on the paddles before...

Oh my, what wonders to behold

Amazing! That whale boat looks out of this world. I think I may have to hold on to my cash if thats coming out soon. I spoke to John about something similar at the London Christmas show for the Plains of Abraham range, he was tight lipped. I now know why! John's work just keeps raising the bar...

    Open letter to Andy

If you are going to demand equality there is also the Japanese/American Infantry that fought in the ETO. These guys battled against the Axis forces whilst their families where inturned back home.

    Open letter to Andy

Well if I can add my four penny worth to this thread. If Andy produced multi figure sets of RAF, US AAC etc and there was a female figure of a WAAF, ferry pilot or the like it would not put me off. If another set was produced to go with the Austin Ambulance that had a nurse such as in Ice Cold...
