I'm a big fan of what I would call "specialty" sets (medical units, anti-tank, flamethrowers, anything with a radio, snipers, etc). This one and the German evac motorcycle are two of my favorites. I don't have a dio ready with them yet, but I have one in mind. Great post.

That is an impressive set! Nice purchase. I don't see what would be wrong with encasing it in glass and leaving it right where it is. Have been considering the dragon boats myself, seeing how nice this set looks might put me over the edge.

I might be interested if a collectors club had some different features. I'm not as interested in special figures unless they somehow fit into existing lines or are their own special line. I would be more interested in something that a) allowed the club to vote on certain figures to be produced...

I like the German ambulance idea. That would be nice. The Steyr 640 Kfz.31 would be very nice, or a variant based on the steyr 1500 should not be hard to produce as they have already done the funkkraftwagen.
