2017 Baseball Season: Let's Play Two! (1 Viewer)

Being a fan is not a bed of roses but we stick with our teams through thick and thin.

I'd like to know where is this kid's parents? Do they condone this kind of display.

I wouldn't waste two seconds of my life listening to that little douchenozzle; just look at him.

Enough said.

Well, season is probably over: Syndergaard has a muscle tear. No projection when he will return. The farm system has no prospects to send.

Lugo might be ready in a month. Matz? Who knows?

Brad:

That is a tough one. I hate to say it, but it makes the loss of Bumgarner for only half of a season seem fortunate.

Just catching up on the baseball thread and sorry to hear of all the injuries to the teams that fellas here pull for...I feel your pain all be it not as bad as some, but not having the O's no.1 starter from last year in Tillman, then Britton the best reliever in baseball goes out for a few weeks (hopefully back today) makes it tough when you lose top shelf guys, all of the teams deal with it at some point usually through out the course of the season, but when you lose good players for half or whole season it can go from bad to worse real quick.

Tillman to make his first AAA start tomorrow on his comeback. Chris

Tonight in the Red Sox/LET'S GO O'S!! game, king kong Bundy throws at Betts, misses him, then two pitches later throws at him again and hits him.

So is this the end of this tit for tat nonsense between these two teams or is this going to go on all season long.

Are you happy now Sammy?

Nothing to be happy about with that situation...as I stated a few weeks ago it was all bullshitt from the get go with the Sox pitcher head hunting Machado.

It all started when Muchado went into 2nd base spikes high and nailed Pedrioa.

Guess you missed that part.

Bundy pitches a fine game for the Os, helped by 4 Es by the Redsox. Some weird base running by Ramirez, who runs to second with a Boston runner still there. Tag out by Hardy. Chris

Good game by Bundy but I think Buck blew it by letting Bundy go out in the 8th. Bundy was done after the 7th. If nothing else, Bundy should have come out after the lead-off hit. The base-running blunder saved the O's, big time. -- Al

Glad to be able to toss it back and forth with you again George.:)

Sports; the toy box of life as I've said many times.

There is a story circulating about some nonsense out in the bleachers last night; it had better not be true, but knowing some of the NERDs who live in this city...................

As in every big city that has professional sports teams there will always be those few drunk morons that do nothing but cause trouble be it Boston, Baltimore, New York, yada yada... today's fans have become cult like followers being if you wear an opponent's jersey\hat it's like a invatation to a fist fight...just unreal these days what goes on, with all the security in stadiums you'd think fans would behave better??....only gotten worse.

I don't care how drunk someone gets, using that word in public turns my stomach; the "N" word and the "C" word are no no's for me, not to mention Adam Jones is probably my favorite non Red Sox player in MLB.

Him, Mad Bum, Harper and Buster Posey are my favorites.

He should not have been subjected to that, it sickens and disgusts me......................

Great post George..let's hope both teams can just get back to playing ball (no hit batters please??) but it will be interesting to see what kind of reaction the Sox fans give A. Jones in his first at bat.

Anything less than a standing ovation would be disappointing; don't let one jerkwhistle make an entire city look awful.

Looks like the O's are going down in this one. BUT they got a triple play in the 8th. :salute:: More base running shenanigans by the Sox. Chris
