2018 Baseball season (1 Viewer)

Glad to see Atlanta save itself, even though it was by the skin of their teeth. I thought Atlanta was dead when LA loaded the bases in the 9th. Good job getting out of it when anything could have tied the game. Now we have a series. -- Al

That was a tough one! I was there. We need more players to contribute offensively or we’re done.

Late start plus longish game plus tight finish = brutal crowds on the way out. Took over an hour to get out of the parking lot!

Wow, the Astros completely obliterated the Indians, three game sweep.

Man are they loaded; great pitching, clutch hitting, great fielding.

If the Red Sox lose their series, I hope the Astros sweep the gashouse gorillas and outscore them 247-0.

This Braves/Dodgers series is a who's who of ex LET'S GO O'S!!, good Christ has that organization given away boatloads of talent.

Same thing I was thinking, especially the Baltimore Braves, (Markakis, Gausman, Brach). Throw in LA Manny and you have a history of the O's over the last several years. -- Al

Did I miss something, i.e. a rain-out etc.? Why are the Red Sox Yanks only playing in game 3?
The AL playoffs started a day behind the NL. Houston completed it's 3 game sweep of Cleveland today, as well. -- Al

We’re seeing a major beat down in the Bronx tonight. Severino, except for a brief stretch at the end of the year, has been awful in the second half.

Ok, have to admit, I did not see that coming.

Wow, what a curb stomping.

What a game by Eovaldi; isn't he the same guy the gashouse gorillas gave up on three years ago?

Yeah, the same guy who in the 7th inning hit 100 on the radar gun, the same guy who was available in a trade for anyone at the deadline.

So the gashouse gorillas season comes down to Sherman Klump saving them.

Take the series home Rick...……………………...

That was pretty amazing. Having been on the receiving end of a couple of those this year, they can escalate quickly. It’s probanly to lose one of those than 3-2 nail biter.

I'd be shocked if this does not come down to a game 5; Sherman Klump will throw his meatballs and junk tonight, then Boone will trot out one bullpen arm after the other and back to Boston we'll go for a winner take all game 5.

As it should be between 2 of the best records in baseball. Whoever wins it will result in a great series against Houston. I want to see that match up. -- Al

I enjoyed every second of that game, especially seeing Holt hit for the cycle, and to knock that swagger off the faces of Yankee fans, if even for one game. The end of the game reminded me of the last game of the 2004 LCS when Yankee fans had deserted the stadium and Red Sox fans took over. I will be wearing my Red Sox 2004 t-shirt to the gym today ^&cool

The guy asleep in the stands murdered me.

The comical thing about MFY fans is if you took the hats and the Munson/Gehrig/Mantle/Jeter/Dimaggio replica jerseys off of them and just showed crowd shots, you'd still say "No doubt about it, those are MFY fans"..............oh and it was wonderful listening to Darling and whoever the bozo is he's saddled with waxing poetic about Yankee lore and tradition, Yogi Berra, Monument park, Babe Ruth, the Boone home run and all the other crap they were babbling about with the MFY's down two touchdowns.

Wrong place, wrong time, someone in the truck must have been telling them to keep talking as the audience is dropping like flies.

And Darling needs to stop with "the baseball code"; not swinging at 3-0 pitches, stealing bases or scoring on pass balls when up 16-1.

Sorry, it's the playoffs, all it takes is a walk, a bloop and an error, then a Quasimodo pop up to right at Williamsport East and it's 16-5 and the Rikers Island inmates are whipped into a frenzy.

Step on their throats and don't let up in October; if it's the second game of a day/night doubleheader in July, much different story.

CC is 3-1 with a 2 or better ERA when Angel Hernandez is behind the plate, as is the case tonight.

I usually zone the commentators out but whoever was doing the Dodger game yesterday noted how awful the infield "shift" is for the game. He also asked why the hitters didn't effectively end its use by bunting when there is no third baseman. Instead they are always swinging for the fence.

Well, CC and the NYY's dodged a 1st inning KO by inches...more to come. -- Al

Well, it’s only the 5th but I didn’t see this coming.

Yankees have a crying need for better starting pitching but then again who doesn’t?
