Hi Robin,

It's dioramas like this that separate the Brigadier Generals from the Command Sergeant Majors. :salute::

Excellent; love all the action in the streets.

Robin
Your scenes are just stunning. I wish I had your photo skills.....YOur buildings are great-did you do them? Your display must be massive-do you have any large, overall shots of the entire layout? Again, I always enjoy your work and imagination on your dio's

Arnhem 21st September 1944, the promised reinforcements having not arrived within 48 hours, Frost, despite holding the bridge head for twice as long, is finally overwhelmed. The bridge was eventually won back by the Allies in April 1945. Let's hope at least Andy's reinforcements start arriving next month^&grin
Robin.

Thanks guys this as been a fun post for me and I really appreciated all your positive comments along the way.

Only thing is if it's supposed to be Vandeleur he should be wearing a denis9n smock.

Scott

Scott,
Please advise us what evidence there is, photographic or otherwise, that establishes that LCol Vandeleur, during any phase of Operation Market-Garden wore a Denison smock.
