85 year old woman arrested for shouting outside mosque (1 Viewer)

One thing has always surprised me if you live in a predominantly ENGLISH speaking country don't you need to speak ENGLISH to get a job.............^&confuse

Yep, low tech, repetitive jobs, such as assemblers and machine tenders. It's called cheap labor. Management LIKES it that way. As I was in a management position, I was clued in on the secret. There were also a number of American workers with personality disorders who could also do the work.
I just left that place because the European owners are moving the operation to Mississippi and Mexico.

Exactly they live off welfare.

Do you have statistics on that?

That statement gets thrown around in the US but it's mostly families with kids, the elderly, and the disabled and in areas with little employment available due to the changing economy.

What about this whack-Job participated in a Sydney Muslim riot {attacks a cop} and refuses to stand in court this week.
Against his beliefs apparently.....just another extremist who hates the western world but love's collecting the government handouts!

"MUSLIM leaders firmly rejected accused rioter Mohammed Issai Issaka's refusal to stand before a magistrate, saying he should respect Australia's laws and courtroom conventions. "

The Australian Federation of Islamic Councils said yesterday it advised members to respect court conventions but would not "force them to do something against their convictions".

Some "Leaders"!

But they would at least condemn. The article you posted simply shows other muslims trying to separate themselves. Just like London they were all quick to separate themselves, but still weren't so quick to say it was wrong! Even that gob s@@te Choudary was saying he hadn't seen them for years until photos appeared.

And by the way the Inquisition, now called the Supreme Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office (and no body expects them:))

Wonder if it took over fourteen minutes for the police to arrive and for back up to be sent? We all know how dastardly and wicked these pensioners can be. They could have an eye out with the hair pins or spray you in the face with blue hair dye!!!!!

I think its time the law applied to all in this country. I was in Bahrain when my brother was stationed nearby and if you did something against the law they jumped on you from a great height national visitor whatever. If you visit a country or live in one its simple the rule of law is first then your moral and political opinions. If you are not happy with that please watch the door don't bang you on the way out.

When somebody in a religion or other group "goes off" the main streamers resort to the "No True Scotsman" fallacy.

Scott....

Apologies it was a failed attempt at Sarcasm!! I understood there was a heavy police presence. Lets hope the public in Kent don't mind all their police resources in one street protecting this group against the evil pensioners of the garden of England. I think, that was more clear.

I do think arresting a 85 year old woman is a complete and utter farce. A zero tolerance approach is just fuelling the perceived fire that this ethnic community is able to say what it wishes whilst another community group is restricted. Way to go to give ammunition to far right groups. however if you look at social network sites and other places where the general public is able to leave comments there is a marked increase in Anti Muslim comments across the board.

The police were already on hand in this case because of earlier vandalism.

Oh OK! I have noticed in looking for more on this story that it was picked up by Stormfront and other such groups. When I read "mosque", I was thinking of a more substantial building than that sad little store front.
