These look great on mass. Well balanced setting of figures. John has exceptional talent. Robin.
That is a beautiful Spad. The paint is very subdued, which is good, and I see that the bracing wire that was missing on the Rickenbacker Spad and caused comment, is present this time. Excellent photos. -- Al
It appears so. I can't really see too clearly but there does appear to be vertical piping and rudder control wires. And the price appears to have increased only by $3 over the Rickenbacker Spad. Quite remarkable. -- AlHi Al,
I can't really illustrate this without mutilating lenswerks pics, but it appears that John added cabling for the control-surfaces on the tail as well. In that same vein, I believe that JJ has added some "plumbing" between the fuselage and upper-wing. I'm pretty certain that upgrading the SPAD in this manner didn't happen without a significant increase in manufacturing cost. One way or the other, hats off to Jenkins for making the improvements.

Should be water and auxilary fuel pipes in that position. -- AlI never noticed that, had to go look, but yes there is cabling to the tail. There is also two pipes that run from middle of top engine area to upper wing and one split for a Y shape. What is that?
Good photos. Confirms the rudder control wire and the pipes. -- Al
