ACW - My Battleground (1 Viewer)

Normally a reader rather than a poster but am compelled to add my warmest congratulations, Mike, on your simply outstanding work. An inspiration to us all!
Fág an Bealach! as we still say in Ireland!
Best regards to all.

It's a lot easier for me to just say "Clear the Way!" Did you happen to see the docudrama on television *** an Bealach - The untold story of the Irish Brigade in the ACW?

See! Now this is nice! The pieces are not crowded and the action is clear. You would expect to see a women in this less dangerous area and she is the focal point in this set up.

If only we could have gotten more of those Blue Bellies!!!!!!!!!!!! Just kidding!!!

Have not gotten mine yet!! Can't wait!!!!!!!!

Great series of pictures to start my day Mike :salute:::salute:::salute::

Cheers

Martyn:)

Not many words to describe how fantastic the setup and display is. An inspiration to be sure. Do you plan this out first or does it "just happen". I am about to start my AWI setup and could use all the help I get. Thanks for dozens of GREAT ideas!

I try to plan a little bit before I take the photo. Its more like imagining the finished photo first in my mind then recreating that thought onto my dio table with the figures and scenics. I also have a small collection of AWI and do the same thing with those figures. If you want to see more of my ACW or AWI photos check these two links:

{eek3}{eek3} OMG! Are you kidding me! These displays should be in a High End Museum or maybe in Washington DC at the Smithsonian or heck on a series of Postage Stamps!!!!!

Boy do I have my work cut out for me.
I will probably have 1000 quyestons some day but for now I am just going enjoy the moment.

Great set up Mike,
I am just catching up a bit after being on the road with Richard Walker for our usual road trip to ACW sites. It was another great trip and we took plenty of notes and pictures again.

I think the new figure from the 114th PA collection should work well in your hospital set up.

With that said, it looks like we could use a few more casualties for these scenes, so we are working on it.

While I love this ACW medical series, I would REALLY love it if you did a French Napoleonic one{sm3}!

Great! Would love more casualties.

The figures and building look like a museum display. Nice work and photos Mike. John
