Dave,

I hope to get the red tunics finished tomorrow and post a couple of photos

Not much more to go now, just a bit of touching up here and there and the gold/silver embellishments..............

Jeff

Look pretty neat Jeff. Well done.

I like the grey bases on the other 3, far better colour choice than the first. ;)

Great Jeff!
But now I'm afraid I will have to send you officers for these lads !
Michel

Yes Jeff, just one of each.
But then the highlanders will also need offciers :D (if you agree of course)
Michel

I didn't remember you had these ones.... sorry
But there are also others,in kilts instead of trews.
They need to be casted however.
REgards,

Michel

It's been a while since I have done any work on these :eek: If you want to send some kilted figures later on that's fine.

Jeff

And for the Guards, 1 of the officer kits is pictured assembled and painted as Michel's avatar. Also, here he is in some of the photos from the album too....

(second from L)

I know, I know :D:D:D

Needing a few more jars of paint, and camera is missing in action (likely in Mrs. Gray's purse) so not much action here today. :(

I want to finish these 3 kits soon and order some more....long ways to go to get the whole company done. :rolleyes:

I didn't realise just how many options / positions there are in this range, Michel has certainly obtained a forward thinking product :confused: If you know what I mean?

The British Grenadiers

Some talk of Alexander, and some of Hercules;
Of Hector and Lysander, and such great names as these;
But of all the world's braves heroes, there's none that can compare
With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers.

Those heroes of antiquity ne'er saw a cannon ball,
Or knew the force of powder to slay their foes withal;
But our brave boys do know it, and banish all their fears,
Sing tow, row, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers.

Whene'er we are commanded to storm the palisades,
Our leaders march with fusees, and we with hand grenades;
We throw them from the glacis about the enemies' ears,
Sing tow, row, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers.

And when the siege is over, we to the town repair,
The townsmen cry, Hurrah, boys, here comes a Grenadier.
Here come the Grenadiers, my boys, who know no doubts or fears,
Sing tow, row, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers,

Then let us fill a bumper, and drink a health to those
Who carry caps and pouches, and wear the loupèd clothes;
May they and their commanders live happy all their years,
With a tow, row, row, row, row, row, row, for the British Grenadiers.

Sorry, couldn’t resist………….just pleased to have finished these four.

:):):):):):):)
