That is an excellent piece Martyn, you must very satisfied with this. Had a interest in traction engines stemming from a film called 'the iron maiden' many moons ago. Yours is a beaut and even better with the trailer.:salute::, Robin.

June 1900 - A supply column on the march

Soldiers from the Black Watch escort a supply column. The Indian mule handlers and wagon driver are from the Indian Army but were not allowed to bear arms, due to a tacit agreement between the British and Boers only white troops should take part in military operations.

November 1899 - Mafeking

One of Colonel Baden-Powell's Mafeking Cadets hands out the Mafeking Mail to subscribers who have paid one shilling a week. The Mafeking Mail was issued daily, shells permitting.

Are these Trophy? They don't look like them.

Well spotted Brad, they are not Trophy.

Not sure who made the newspaper boy but the small group are from Imperial Miniatures of Woking, Surrey.
