You can see where his genesis of the Boy Scouts movement came from. And where one might think of the Boer War, of course when one thinks of Ladysmith and where one thinks of it pertaining to the Boar War it has it's beginnings, in it's name sake at Badajoz in the Napoleonic Peninsular War !
