Inspired by K&C's latest Ranger releases I wanted to portray the 2nd and 5th Rangers and the 116th Infantry of the 29th Division landing on Dog Green Beach at Omaha. I stood on the bluffs overlooking the beach many yrs ago and could only marvel at what was accomplished. Hope you enjoy viewing. Chris

This was my first attempt at a large dio base and see some things that could have been done a little differently. The beach and sea wall are JG Miniatures. Chris

A few surviving amphibious tanks manage to wade ashore bringing needed fire support although most "throw" their tracks crossing the shingle beach.

Looks fantastic, Chris. The ground work is very realistic. Love the many different figures and the beach obstacles look really good. -- Al

Great pictures Chris.....straight out of Saving Private Ryan {bravo}}{bravo}}{bravo}}

All the best

Well it’s a big story so it needs a the landscape to match and you have achieved that in spades. Very realistic, tons happening. The view from the barb wire up the cliff to the bunkers is brilliant. The bunker machine gun spitting fire is great with the beach expansive backdrop. Andy has produced lots of appropriate figures for this battle. So well done Chris. Robin.

Very nicely done Chris . . . Well staged and photographed. I am sure you had a lot of fun and enjoyment putting your diorama together.

Well done on you diorama Chris it looks great. Like all the detail with the mines and am going to have to incorporate the MG blazing away idea into some of my dio's.
