I've given orders to my squad of 1st Delaware Continental troops to prepare for the arrival of the British 22nd Foot. Here are a few pics I took this morning . . . . .

Hi Mike

Where did you get the rail fencing? And the scene looks awesome!

Thanks!

Brad

Excellent! Thanks for posting. The AWI range is my favorite, and I hope to pick up some of these latest releases after I finish completing the first releases.

Hello Mike,

The rail fence and the wooded area with hand painted backdrop was made for me by Ken & Ericka Osen (Hudson & Allen). In reality the scenics are two dio bases butted up against each other. You can't see the detail in these photos, but the dio base with the snake rail fence has a lane/small road running parallel to it.

Thanks Xavier. I have a feeling the skirmish between the 1st Delaware and the 22nd Foot will be a real "slug fest"

Thank you very much Andreas. Yes its been awhile since I posted any photos. Been somewhat busy traveling with my wife and enjoying the adventures. I still check in to the forum on a regular basis just to see what other collectors are up to.

Love the posting, thank you. A great display, Ken & Ericka Osen settings are the best bar none.

All around great set up Mike, the dark forest background works so well with your troops, gives it that spooky kind of battle ground feeling where men will die, little morbid but I really like it, thanks for posting...Sammy

Great stuff Mike. I always like to see this dio from H & A, no matter what period you display in it! Based on your post, I assume this mean you are getting the 22nd Foot after all.....^&grin

I am very seriously thinking about it Noah. I happened to watch Mel Gibson's movie "The Patriot" this past Friday and by doing so increased my interest in continuing my FL AWI collection. I'll at least get a good "squad" size grouping to oppose my 1st Delaware squad . . . . .
