:)Word from my dealer, the snowstug arrived TODAY, so only a few days and its mine,my precious.

Mine also arrived today, BUT.... it exhausted my TS budget for this and next month € 240 ( =$ 322.50) is a bit steep !!!!!!!!!

I know two people in England who have just sold these one for £600 the other for £490 and, they are not available until next week.

If anything it started a bit lower than I expected for the interest and the number repainted.

Its amazing what people will pay when they want something!! I know one of the collectors who has bought one well the other through the usual a mate of a mate but, I know the person who sold it on quite well!!

I think those prices are ridiculous. You could buy the original version which still hasn't sold out and hire someone to do a custom whitewash/weathering for far less money. :rolleyes2:

Maybe it's because most collectors know that unauthorized repaints make the set worth "far less money" :rolleyes2: ^&grin
 
The e-bay listing for the Snow Slug closed at $267 with only two bids - an increase of just $38. Deduct the 10% e-bay and Paypal fees of $27 and the profit was about $11 - not worth the effort.
