Terrible news, but thanks to Ahmed al Ahmed, a guy who owns a local fruit shop, was shot twice [in the arm and the hand, according to the news], when UNARMED he tackled one of the rifle toting terrorists, disarmed him and forced him away. True hero.

The newspaper article and the priase should give us a tiny tiny germ of hope. As they are trying to very slightly defuse the situation, by making people know it is not 'all of them', as many people want people to make us believe. One thing that someone mentioned to me tonight, this is braver than we first realise, as he is a dark skinned Middle Eastern man. Who in the middle of an attack by evil men, whom he looks like, goes and takes the gun off one of them and is then stood with a gun in his hand as armed police are diverging on the area. No wonder he put the gun down and his hands up ASAP.

I got up this morning made a cuppa and sat on the deck enjoying the sun and then my dog took me for a walk along the local beautiful beach, me thinking how good life in OZ is. Then sat down, turned on the PC only to see two animals killing people in the name of what? Why? or did someone pea in their fruit loops or something. The talk is terror attack, that it was....15 killed! If this is related to the never ending Jew/Muslim brainless drama then it is even more pointless, what do these deluded brain dead fools think they archive with this abominable action? I have often asked the question why does this happen to Jews? Universally, they are the victim, unfortunately, it is a recurring nightmare that continues to happen. People have asked me how can my wife's family (the ones in Israel) can feel the way they do about irradicating Hamas, etc. The answer is simple, they are in fear of their lives on a continuous basis with good reason. Think about that for a minute. I have had one person after having this discussion compare my wife's family members to Nazis. There is the issue. Until you understand what a targeted victim 365 days a year truly is...................The point is - you have a certain religion that believes all other religions are wrong and you have part of that religion that wants to wipe out all others unless they comply. Until that changes, these events will continue to happen and all you have to do is look at history.

Thanks for sharing this Tom. I concur, it's difficult to fathom the depth of hatred and the twisted logic directed towards the Jewish faith, however I've found much of it is based upon pure ignorance. Comparing Jews to Nazi's is just such an example.

What gets me is why pro-Palestinian/Hamas & antisemitism protesters are openly tolerated in western countries such as ours. Yet if you stand up to them you can be arrested, outed and become a target yourself. We live in strange times.......

It's ironic the Bondi beach hero Ahmed al Ahmed the fruit shop owner who disarmed the shooter Sajid Akram is apparently also Muslim, so I guess there is some hope that folks of different faiths can co-exist if they decide too?

I posted that footage for good reason and before it could be sanitized by our good friends the main stream media. Its rare to have such raw footage posted and un-edited on the likes of You-tube. The public have a right to know what has occurred and see it for themselves, warts and all.
