Joe, My grass is by John Gittings, I have different bases and I am very pleased with all of them. This seems to be different, I congratulate you - and of course Erilka and Ken - it looks very good as does all their products.

Tim I really enjoy seeing your postings still and wish I had your skill with the figures.

Am I right in thinking the standard has just rocketed upwards over the last few years from all the guys that post? You know who you are^&grin

Thanks Kevin! I also enjoy seeing your work also! You have a way with catching lighting in your dioramas that few others can come close to, I always look forward to seeing your work.^&cool
Yes you are very right in thinking that the dio standards have rocketed! If you start this thread at the begining and go page by page you can see the improvement page by page.
I think all the new scenic stuff available now and guys learning from others work also has really raised the bar.
I,m back to plastics now with these new crazy metal prices{eek3} so my dios might be taking a step backwards instead of forwards but its still all fun and maybe it,ll improve my converting and painting skills???? Painting takes so long and seams like I either hate or love doing it depending on my mood I,m in.
Taking on to many figures at once can ruin the fun and effect the final results from rushing the process.
I need to break out some of my old metals and throw something together for fun, all my last dios have been quickies to get a few pics of newly painted or converted figures.
Keep the pics coming guys!!!^&cool

Great set Joe!^&cool Looks like its fitting in nicely in the land of the Zulus.

Tim it's been fun and a pleasure seeing what you've been doing with your platics figures an the scenes you've created in photo dioramas with them. But must agree with you it's about time you've taken your metal figures out to play with. I know you've added to them at the last show we attended together an would be nice to see them at play along with the others you've have in your very nicely built metal collections. Also got to agree Kevin on the quality of photos we've been seeing from all ends............Joe
