Thanks very much. Things are going well and we are waiting for the house plans to be approved. Then to find builders is the next problem. Here are some more pictures. The bands are from the Britains club set of Victoria presenting the Scots Guards with ther colors. It came out in 1999 2000. I did not complete the whole set but I do have Victoria's carriage and her Scottish companion Mr Brown stuck away somewhere. there are also soem pictures of teh band of the Kings African Rifles, made by Iain Stewart of Colonial factor in Howick South Africa. Ilook forward to seeing your new aquistion. I am also looking forward to the Britains catalogue comming out netx week.
Regards
Damian

Mark,

Is that some 21st C building work mixed in there?
If so, nice job on sprucing it up. Great dio. :)

Simon

Hi Mark,

That is one mighty fine diorama you have constructed! Your talents demonstrate what the concept of excellence is all about! Thank you for sharing your work with us. It is grand!

Warmest personal regards,

Pat :)

Mark,

Awesome!!!! What a fantastic diorama from a true artist.

I can see almost all of the buildings and accessories are from Build-A-Rama. IMO, these accessories add authenticity to the theme. Oh yeah, there really seems to be a very believable ambush theme here.

I love the elevation (buildings) and the angles (off center street view) of this diorama; it makes the scene visually interesting.

Mark, don’t be a stranger, please continue to post dioramas for all of our enjoyment and frankly my educations of what is possible.

Thanks,

Carlos

It's nice to see you posting photos and nice camera work. Seems like your setting up mini dio's swapping figures to create them. Great background photo and is available for sale thru a source. Looking forward to lots more photos and thanks for sharing them.......The Lt.

That is a great little scene, one that any soldier from any war could probably relate to.
