There's that Beau Geste again wadepat...it's calling your name! You can't escape the pull of Beau Geste Delhi Durbar and not a single piece in the line is retired yet.
Thanks Chet for filling us in about the water effects--it really looks like you could get wet if you stood too close!

They are magnificent! Sooner or later, I will find a way to spring for some more of them! I only hope whatever plan I come up with will be a legal way to acquire them! Warmest personal regards,

Hey gang. It has been a while since I posted over here. This is a little something called, "BASTOGNE". I made the diorama for a doctor,the figures are not included. I like to play around with my dioramas before I ship them out. LOL. Nick

HI Owen,
Nick (Morbshock) and Alex (Sarge Rock) and most other WWII collectors here use 1/32 and 1/30 scale models. In 1/32 we mainly use ready made diecast models by Forces of Valor, Figarti etc. And for 1/30 we usually use pre made models constructed by polystone (calcium carbonate and resin) that are produced by King & Country and Honour Bound.
But there are other members that also build 1/72 scale kits and make dios with them. My model building days are long gone so I mainly collect 1/72 diecast aircraft made by Corgi and 1/72 prebuilt armor models made by Dragon and Forces of Valor.

At the show today both Tim and I got a chance to see the attached Dioramas by Joe Farina once again. Tim ask while at the show for a larger photo of his favorite so I thought I'd share it with the forum members. Joe's a master at his craft.......The Lt.

I managed to get a loan of my wifes digital camera to join the "post your dio" pic club. I have had and used an SLR Pentax for many years but didn't have much faith in the dinky digitals they sell these days but considering this is only my first attempt to use a digital camera and post the photo I think it turned out ok. The camera is a Pentax Optio 30 which was rather cheap but scored good reviews on most camera sites.
The pic is of a Dragon Hummel in 1/72 scale. The dio base I bought on eBay Australia and it's just a polystyerene affair that has been shaped and painted. The two trees are from a set I bought at a hobby shop that were meant for trains layouts but as they come in a range of sizes you can get a close match to most model scales.
