Again another Sunday at the college where we finished terra-forming the first Waterloo table.....

Then 'test fitted' some figures to see how they looked, bare in mind that they are just temporality placed as there are many more figures to be sited and bases covered and etc later.

We worked again at the College today heartened by the news that we have won another grant that will help fund the dioramas we have planned. We have spent quite some time building tables and organising the groundwork so I thought we were overdue for some actual TS playtime. I brought in a few of my K&C Naps and Bob did the same with a few of his. There are literally hundreds of figures that need to make an appearance but we certainly had fun setting them up. They will be moved once we have all of the figures available. Anyone in Brisbane for the K&C dinner should get along. There is much more to see!

I would need to find an Old Boy who served with the Germans. We have snuck Waterloo in but I suspect that Kursk is beyond even us{sm4} Two of our Old Boys played with the Western Force so that is close I suppose to fighting for Hitler!

I'd love to have space for a table like that!Even half that size would be good.Great job fellas. Can't wait to see completed versions of your dioramas.
Mark

That's one vast canvas, hard to imagine there will enough TS's available to transform it. Best part is positioning the figures I bet. Robin.

I'm sure looking forward to see row on row of red coats defending their squares, as the French Cavalry tries to advance up the slopes ....

Keep on posting the images, its WONDERFUL :)

One thing is certain - no shortage of wonderful Scottish figures!

Snuck???^&confuse three tables is very very sneaky{sm4}

Not fair guys, every-time I see Naps on display I want to start collecting them again. Seeing the ALH display last year in Brissy was bad enough, but now you're going to have a hoard of Napoleonic blokes charging about on horse back this year as well.......next thing you're going to mention you're planning a display of a dozen Tiger & Panther tanks darting across the tundra towards some unsuspecting Soviet defenders?!{eek3}:wink2:

What's a poor Kiwi bloke to do....apart from go watch the cricket.:salute::

We did a Saturday this time, added some extra figures to the first Waterloo table, much more still to do of course but well on the way.

Started Hougoumont with placing the buildings and beginning some terra-forming.

Looking great! The diorama of the French cavalry charge and British squares is really looking good! The Hougoumont diorama will no doubt be spectacular once it's completed. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
Brendan

I'm sure it's not all plain sailing, but one of the many things that make these types of projects so special is the team work and seeing a bunch of blokes enjoying themselves, while nutting things out and working together towards a common goal.....awesome stuff fella's and a joy to watch.:salute::

Just go out and get some NAPs and enjoy them :)

John

Thanks John, I have a few of the North-gate W-Britains Naps in a small display, but they are not a patch on the K&C figures. I think you maybe right surely one or two can't hurt?^&grin
