Britain's Zulu War (2 Viewers)

It appears our Drift will be without for a bit as according to the WB site Dalton, Schiess & 24th in shirtsleeves have been pushed back to October and Hook arriving in November, 24th kneeling loading due for Jan 2010.

:(:(

Thats a shame.Well I no they mentioned more scenics and figures in the fall/winter supplement. So I guess we wont see them until 2010 also. Well its to bad but I guess thats what its got to be.

Seems like those who collect both the ACW and Nappy series are being well taken care of with little or no effect to date on their sets and figures which I'm sure will make them happy. That's okay got a hunch we'll be well taken care of during the first quater of 2010. Right Richard? He's away from his desk for the week so we'll just have to wait till he returns for his answer.....The Lt.

Luckily I have a few older sets to get so I will still be able to get my Zulu fix :)

Well now, you have forgotten "crazies" like me who are trying to catch up on several ranges that have a lot of retired sets . Caught entirely up on the AZW range :). Almost caught up on the Defense of Hougoumont "Nappies". Trying to catch up on the ACW Valley series and this has been a big drain on my check book. Now K&C has finally announced their newest release of their Crusaders which I also collect. Oh well, when I am finally broke I will ask my Congressional representative for a bailout :D:p ;)

Nothing better to start the morning out with Joe than great looking pictures from you and a good cup of coffee. I really like the close-up shot of the Zulu warrior "coming in for the kill"
Mike

The LT expressed his concern to me that I might be running out of room for my AZW figures due to my recent interest in also the ACW. Here's a picture to show that I have plenty of room left ;) - half the table is reserved for my 24th Foot and Zulu warriors. I am waiting on my new AZW arrivals - all of which I have pre-ordered. Still hoping for a WB Comissary Storehouse to complete the Drfit enclosure. What I have run out of room for is my WB Nappies  - I am looking for a new space for my Defense of Hougoumont buildings and figures.

You must'nt forget you need two wagons and mealie bags to build your south wall along with your biscuit boxes to be set up connected to the Commissary Storehouse if and when it becomes availabe your last redoubt and less not forget your well built karral Mike and wasn't really concerned was kiddingly making a comment on and looking forward to seeing the end results of both....The Lt.

Ending the evening with the fourth in the series and still to be continued.

:):D:) I knew you were kidding around LT. I was too in my response. I have reserved a 4' X 4' area for my Rorke's Drift display. I am hopeful that WB will come out not only with a comissary store but also the two wagons for the south wall and also the mealie bag redoubt. The same stone walls I am using in the ACW area could also be used to make a nice looknig stone karral. When everything is done I am hoping to have two nice looking set-ups all on one big table.

Another very nice picture added to your current series Joe. That Frontline wagon is great looking - I have been tempted to acquire two Frontline wagons for my mission area but I have been patiently restraining myself hoping that WB will eventually offer one. I think if Frontline would offer a wagon by itself without the figures I would have probably bought two by now instead of waiting on WB. No coffee here yet  - I must go and remedy that :D.

They do offer them without the figures Mike, but they have also chosen to add IMO silly accesories such as spears, shields & mealie bags. They would be better off without them and it would drop the price a bit as well. I will still hold out for Wb as I want the continuity (I don't like to mix and match at all).

Sounds like you will have 2 great looking dios and each one seems to have ample space :) Question :- Where will you fit in Isandlwana LOL :D :D :D

You currently have available to you the glossy wagon from WBritain which you can easily achieve a matte finish by using KRYLON'S Matte Finish Spray 1311 which will also add additional pieces to the Accessory Sets you may have. At $72.00 with 20% discounts to be had and the cost of the spray paint you can't go wrong and they'll fit in just fine. I can't see First Gear redoing the wagons in matte it doesn't make sense but you never know....The Lt.

Mike here's the send to the last in the series of photos and I'm sure by now your enjoying your first cup of coffee..
