Britain's Zulu War (2 Viewers)

Doesn't get much better than this Joe - a day oof from work, a fresh cup of coffee, and a great new picture to look at first thing in the morning :D. Supposed to rain here today  but a bad rainy day at home always beats a good day at work. Oh what shall I do . . . . perhaps play ;)

Mike

Afraid not my Aide de Camp it's the impact of the round fired from the capture Marini-Henry fire by the Zulu Warrior. Glad to hear your enjoying the photos Titus as I've said before the figures are a pleasure to photograph and play with....Joe

Lt.,

This is a great image.

Looks like he is done with a shot in the back.

I am enjoying your play.....

Best, Raymond.

:)

Very nice LT. Can I ask where the Martini Henry came from?

Scott it came from one of Hinchliffes Battelfield Pack No.1 CS13 which is no longer available. The unpainted metal kit consisted of 4 Foreign Service Helmets,4 Martini-Henry Rifles and ammo boxes along with 2 of each dscarded haversacks, waist belts, waterbottles and rankers tunics. It would be nice to see something similar done by WB.....The Lt.

Very nice LT and thanks for the intel. Would be nice to see WB come out with a similar product. Wilson Edwards sells the Martini Henry painted & unpainted, don't know how they scale up against the WB matte series though.

Starting the morning off with my favorite figure from the set which has given me so much fun playing with it...The Lt.

Lt.,
Good Morn! Great close-up shot of the 24th man , and the wagon! Like Michael just pointed out, and you continue to confirm, he is very versatile.
Mike

Good morning LT. That is a great looking picture. I could see that incorporated into a monthly calendar backdrop.
Mike

Food for thought Mike and agree Michael he's a very versatile figure and I can see why he's also a favorite of yours Martyn. Here he is again telling a fellow ranker that he's finished loading the wagon......The Lt.
