Britain's Zulu War (4 Viewers)

Thanks again for your comment Randy. Here's Febuary's Calendar for Ken and Richard along with others as an enticement in posting a few photos of the new ZW Set. Maybe Lady Ericka will feature them as her selection of sets and figures for the month and I'm sure Randy's already posted her first selection earlier......The Lt.

Dearest Lt. ( the the Lil Captain too),
The calendar has been printed, important dates filled in and is now hanging in the studio next to Ken's workbench. I have a few pictures from the Michigan show that I will post later in the day.
Thank you so very much!
Ericka

Great work Lt.
So Chard and Bromhead are coming in matte? Pic is on the small side to see it clearly over on the show report thread. That glossy Omdurman lancer rocks. I need to get me one of those.

Troopers H.C. Loyd and T. McRae of the Natal Mounted Police along with private William Burke 886 of the 1st/24th are attempting to survive..........The Lt.

If your man on the ground can last a couple more minutes, we have a bird on the way...check avatar and prepare for extraction from LZ Mission Station.

Lt......

I was going through an old steamer trunk I found. It had Natal labels on it and I believe it belonged to Alfred Henry Hook. Amongst the shield, assegais, uniforms and other personal belongings I came across this and thought you might like to view it.

That is a great find and now students of the AZW will have a chance to see what really happened. The Rosetta Stone of the Zulu War. ;)

Glad you enjoyed it LT. I thought it was another great way to showcase your fantastic dioramas and photography skills.

Thanks chaps it is real easy to do if you have a photobucket account. And it wouldn't have been possible without the LT's stunning photos.

Thanks for the pictures guys. I am getting more interested in the Zulu War again. I think the wagon will be my next thing to get. It is harder to resist. I did buy another Zulu 24th foot figure. John

Resistance is futile John, it's like a disease.......I fought it for awhile but didn't win :D :D
