Britain's Zulu War (7 Viewers)

No Joe,

I made all of these figures so they could be moved about. In one of the sets the Zulu coming over the wall has a mealie bag as a base. The bag is hollow on the underside with a pin. The pin registers into a hole on top of the barricade to prevent the figure from falling over. If you do not wish to place the Warrior coming over the top, an ammo box with a pin is provided to plug the hole and the Warrior will stand at ground level using the bag as a base.

In another set one of the 24th Foot OR sits on top of the wall bayoneting down...he can be used a number of places. I think he will be as useful as the other figures that were designed without bases.

The third set has a Zulu with one foot resting on top of the wall, and he could be used other places. The 24th OR defending has one foot on a Mealie bag as a base...similar to the one I sculpted that is yelling over his shoulder and uses a bag as a base.

These design features should give you maximum flexibility...and the three short bag sections are all different, with one of the being curved.

I will post some pictures this weekend.
Ken

Hi Ken

Thanks for the "heads up", the new sets sound great. Are you coming over for the March Toy Soldier Show?

Cheers

Martyn:)

Thanks Scott, they are the perfect accessories for the Hospital.

The new sets sound fantastic, love the idea of interchangeable pieces.

Now to hunt down my missing sets of WBritains matte AZW, it's a hard life but somebody has to do it:D
Cheers

Martyn:)

Well I think it's very good for a first attempt :)

Ideal set up Jag and not a bad first attempt but here's a helpful hint. I recommend that you use your MACRO setting on your camera and no flash when taking your photos and cropping the photo when necessary. You'll find that the natural overhead lighting will work find. Take a number of photos of the same set up until you feel that you've got one that your very pleased with. You'll find that after awhile threw trial and error you'll master your photo taking.Looking forward to your next photo followed by others.......The Lt.

Love it when I see you guys playing Scott and Martyn. It's nice seeing you playing off of each other. Very nicely done Scott and looking forward once again to see what you both come up with as well as looking forward to Jag's next group of photos.........The Lt.

Scott,
You've finally been able to play with the cattle I knew you had lying around!
Mike

Thanks Martyn, LT & Mike

The cattle are from the Britains farm range about 1993, when they did a special paint finish for a period of time. I happened to be in the UK and scooped up a few. They are a bit small for the matte AZW, but if displayed in dios in the background or on their own it's not a problem.

Well here is my second try I took a few shots found this was the best I had taken so I cropped the image this time and turned my flash of. So let me no what you guys think.
