Yup, now it is over.
I dunno...
Bama will still make it a nail biter...
but...
if you took Ohio State +9...
then the game is definitely over...^&grin^&grin^&grin
Yup, now it is over.
Bama's QB was not good enough, bad choices and poor execution doomed him.
A terrible bowl season for the SEC. Auburn, LSU, both Mississipi schools and now Bama get beat.
In the BCS era, it would have been Alabama vs Florida St. for the national championship. Two teams that lost last night. There is no way Ohio St. or even Oregon even gets in that game. As much as I would like to blame Lame "victory cancer" Kiffin for Bama's loss, it's hard to win when your defense gives up nearly 600 yards and over 40 points to a team with a third-string QB. The days of the mighty SEC defenses winning championships appears to be over. We are in the age of the hurry up offense. Even teams like USC and Notre Dame that play pro style offenses have made the change to a hurry up style.
Good points, no doubt, but if Bama runs when they got the ball on the 23, game over.

Good points, no doubt, but if Bama runs when they got the ball on the 23, game over. Also, FSU turns the ball over 4 times beginning of second half, equal killers. My opinion there could have been 8 legit teams in this, but there were 4 good choices.

I'm going with the Ducks. Probably big. Myers may be the best coach in college football, but can't see him pulling this off again with a third-string QB. Oregon will surprise with a more physical team than expected.
The pick: Oregon 43 Ohio St. 24
