Thank you Martyn an as luck would have it I ran across three News Paper clipping from an unknown source capturing both Sergeants Barrian and Allison performing their heroric acts.
I think I'm getting near the end of this series. I may still go down and try to retake some shots that didn't turn out.

Agree with you both Martyn and Mike. By way I ran across a scrape book which contained a few vintage photos taken by an unknown photographer. Here's a few of them from it.
sorry lt....i was trying to make the point visually that i tried to make in print in earlier posts. Your photo was handy and again i apologize to you.
The repeated humorous "documentary" black and white photos of the 5th ny zouaves charging at gaines mill, while funny, i take as a comment on my point that the set is inaccurate to the actual event.
Sorry it didn't meet your high standards of historical accuracy but it doesn't excuse your poor taste in doctoring the photo along with some of your other posting unrelate to the period.
