Well heck Lt., I did publicly apologize to you, and my posts on this subject had to do with Conte cartoonizing American heroes. When you post non-copyrighted material on the net this can happen.

I priced this set yesterday and I think $75 USD for three pieces is about right. Conte's usual movie theme sets are one thing, but it's $75 for what amounts to an "action figure" version of a documented event.

If the moderators have a way of deleting your photo I photo shopped, then I request that they do.

FYI the LT 's photos are his and automatically carry with them a form of copyright so please don't give the wrong idea to the rest of us that they are somehow in the public domain and may be used by others however they want to Alterations to and modifications of his photos in an unfriendly manner opens up another whole can of worms. While folks rarely sue for copyright infringement the penalties can be as high as 100,000 per occurrence so caution .
Even if the law didn't prohibit you from altering the Lt's artistic creations, good taste might have
Mini legal thought here is that while there may not be a way of 'prohibiting' youfrom doing what you did, there are lots of ways by which the law would allow the LT to seek recourse and damages.

But hey, your not a lawyer , you've apologized so let's get back to photos.

I don't understand the reference to "Conte cartoonizing American Heroes"
Looks to me like they have immortalized these heroes in toy soldier form rather cartooned them
