in all seriousness, I didn't even mean it political or anything along those lines. I just meant it literally as when I hear LA, I now think fantasy island! BUT, I do fondly remember early trips to LA and Disneyland. And of course, I remember my favorite music genre flourishing on the Sunset Strip! Every band/singer from Elton John to Ozzy to GNR to Def Leppard owes that strip for a lot of their success.

That was perhaps my favorite part of the greater LA area....the thriving music scene. My life used to revolve around the vibrant artistry of it all, and Hollywood/LA was the playground. I feel very fortunate to have had so many amazing music life experiences. It was total freedom and an energy words cannot describe. Everyone from the strip or from out of town gave LA their best effort, and I can't believe how many times I found myself at the right place at that right time. Pure magic and wonderful memories.
