December 2020 Advent Calendar (3 Viewers)

With John's background in theater stagecraft, maybe he thinks of the of scenic facades first when starting a new series.
So far we have Castles in Spain, Walls of Troy, and Palaces of India..... Just a thought. :rolleyes2:

Wellington in India
19th Dragoons
16-M.jpg

This particular era will be something that hasn't been done before.

I will be enthusiastically waiting to see what is coming, and I do hope that Tipu Sultan will be one of the character figures for this range.

Having British infantry in tropical uniforms will be a new view, and the very colourful Indian defenders maybe some in elephants ???.

Bring it on,

John

Oh, this means that I will be back collecting JJD figures again :) :)

This really is something to look forward to in 2021 :)

Agreed! I'm looking forward to seeing John getting back into the "Napoleonic" era. Looking at these pictures makes me want to reread the first few Sharpe novels and of course Wellington in India.

And the "goodies" keep coming and coming. Another very nice looking ACW future offering.

Saxon Warrior with Draco Standard
The Age of Arthur

I am so happy to see 2 new Confederate ACW regiments being released. We know the 14th Brooklyn and Garibaldi Guard are coming for the Union. So that's at least 4 more Regt plus the Confederate cavalry with Jeb Stuart at the front.
I can't wait to see what John does with Troy. With his skill and vision it will be another awesome series.

Ok, didn't see this coming. A 3rd new range for 2021, not making it easier to choose which range to spend my money on:eek:
Imagine the figures in this range - Greeks, Trojans, Hitites, Amazons, maybe some Philistines...Wow!

The Trojan Wars
Trojan Warrior
20-M.jpg

Wow, I am already complete collecting 1066, Conquest of Mexico, Punic war, and the Conquest of Gaul, there are only so many ranges I can collect. I guess I will have to make a choice between El Cid and Wellington in India and it is not going to be easy

Niels

I think there will many collectors, including me, who will have the same choice, I collect Aztecs, WW1, Roman Enemies and Saxon/Viking from JJ, Romans and WW2 from T Gunn, WW2, Nap and MK from K & C. But this is a positive thing, we have to realise that, Toy Soldier collectors are in a golden time for the wide choice and quality.

Let us see the positives and we all need something positive at the moment.

Wow! I remember seeing those in the film God's and Generals with their revolutionary style dress. This range is gonna be massive!

I agree Cameron . . . Very unique, as are a lot of uniformed units at 1st Bull Run. I'll be adding these to my collection when they are released.
