Sorry, Rob. When I started writing my post there was nothing on the forum but by once it posted I saw yours. If the mods want to move my post to this thread I'd be happy.

Rob,

Armoured car looks like a WW1 vehicle, recycled for WW2 :)

Love the new Kaiser and his Generals , thay are the 3 figures I'm after, but not his box on wheels... thats VERY different, but not my style.

Glad there are no retirements, so I can keep on getting more NAPs :)

An interesting and good mixture.
4 more leaders for my collection.
Hard to pick a favourite but probably the Armoured car.

The Kaiser's staffwagen certainly is a leftfield vehicle! I agree with John that the WW1 figures look excellent, especially Von Mackensen.
Maybe one day we'll see a London bus converted for carrying troops on the Western Front, like the Trophy one (?) only better.... Or a german horse-drawn wagon....
10 out of 10 for originality on these WW1 sets.

There one of them armoured car at RAF Hendon & were used at the start of the war to defend RAF base in the desert

Have to say it was a rather quiet start to 2011 IMO. Not surprised there are no discontinued sets would be rather strange to increase the prices then discontinue stock straight away.

The EA vehicle is very nice and wondered when one was coming from the release of the SAS roller a while back. Nice set and like the camo colouring will go well with just about any African theatre stuff.

The standout pieces for me are the Kaisers staffwagon and the mounted crusade set. which, is probably the best piece that will be released in the german WWI range its excellent and looks a big piece. I don't really collect crusades but, the detail of that set is excellent.

PS
Meant Bentley not roller!!!

The WW I vehicle is interesting but the price ($255), to put it as nicely I can, is daunting.

This is the model i waiting for .

Me too. thought it would be good ;)

The armoured car and Grant are the two must haves for me this month. and nothing retiring either:cool:
