Happy to say after waiting my Stuka has landed today ! What a challenge in 1/30 scale this bird has been. Opened the box and found the left rear tail section loose, the
support for this piece broken off, and the left landing gear assembly hanging ! {eek3} Luckily Some super glue was on hand and all 3 problems were fixed. I also wound up using some flat black paint to go over the rear tail section line that had been glued and it blended in well with the factory finish........Luckily all turned out fine.
If any out there are waiting for their plane to arrive, just be prepared to make a minor repair. The foam packing inside the box is quite adequate,but who knows what
torture this plane has been through in transit. Glad Figarti went ahead and made it and quite happy with the plane overall !!!

Very nice mate its finally landed can't wait to get mine great pics mate cheers for posting them..................{bravo}}{bravo}}

It looks nice in the pictures but, thats a lot of damage and, should not be happening for the price whatever the set is and, many will not wish, or be able, to do the repairs. Thats four I have heard of that have come damaged not really transit damage with Figarti's history.

Looks very nice though and, having the Owl and the Me 110 this one just did not jump out at me. Look forward to more pics

Those are the issues I had with mine and was not happy, which is why I sold it.

The packaging for the tail section was not adequate to protect it from damage.

No reason you should jave to deal with this.

Sent pavment to TF this week should get mine next week hopefully. Hope its not damaged...Ron {sm2}

I had similar issues. Had to glue one landing gear, a cannon, and the aerial. I do agree that these issues should not occur, but luckily they were easy to correct.

It is a bit disapointing to wait on the release and finally get it and wind up glueing it back together.My advise to those waiting for theirs is have your super glue ready !
Quite a nice plane though and certainly plan on keeping it ! The Bf110 I got arrived perfect.....rock solid !!!

I think the best advice is to have your dealer check it before it even gets dispatched. Sorry PA, I know your being helpful but, thats the wrong advice to offer at the cost of this item.. to have glue at standby. Its a poor show plain and simple. It never fails to amaze me how much people will put up with from this hobby when we would not in other parts of our lives accept substandard or broken items. I would think it must be more than dissapointing opening an box and seeing damage, it is for me!!

Yes for $289.00 in the U.S. it should come new as it was made. I just don't have the option to return it for another as there are no more to be had {eek3}

Neil, Interesting that you mention it. I just got done looking at it and his arrived "perfect".....Go figure ! Luck of the draw here

I have to say mine looks pretty darned nice after re-gluing and assembling the wings.

To me it appears the interior foam that sits directly in contact with the plane needed to have some of the rear area that is making contact with the rear tail area trimmed as I think this is the part putting pressure on that portion.

I agree at $289 it should be packaged properly so as to avoid damage.....Simply NOT RIGHT to have products arrive broken due to improper packaging....Figarti should improve product package or offer a discount for damaged items.

I agree. Only company I have had no damage issues with is First Legion. These companies have been in the game now too long to not know how to ship their products by now. Keith
