Hi guys,

Just curious to know if anyone has put side by side the 1:30 vehicles of both WWII First Legion and Figarti??? hoping that there isn't to much of a difference?? thanks for any help...Sammy

Great question and I am anxious to see the responses. It would be nice to know if anyone has used FL figures with Figarti vehicles as well.

I think they would work as Figarti and FL are smaller than other manufacturers. figure wise they look about similar. I don't think FL and Figarti have made a similar release to date for a perfect comparison. the Panzer III I have from FL and some of the sets I have from Figarti work better than with CS or K&C. The 88mm gun is well sized with FL as is the winter flak gun

If I was at home I would post a pic of the two manufacturers stuff for you to see. I am sure someone will but, if not, when I get home I will post some

Aprreciate it Mitch, I would like to incorporate a few vehicles/guns with my First Legion infantry, I pre-ordered the Figarti early Tiger, (that's one I gotta have)..and hopefully I'll have a FL Tiger to go along with it in the future, thanks again...Sammy

No problem. Sounds a good idea

Sammy sammy sammy they will be to small for FIGARTI.........................:D

WIth BSP doing some work for FL we are just approaching this issue...I mean like last night.... I took a bunch of Figarti stuff out and started matching it up with FL....Check this......I thought their first 1/32 Tiger matched well so far. I am starting a thread on FL to discuss FL scale further. Alex

If FL is 1:30 and I am pretty certain it is, how would a 1:32 Figarti Tiger match up pretty good? Wouldn't the Tiger appear small with the FL Panzer III and other AFVs?
it is difficult to compare FL and Figarti side by side as there isn't any overlap of AFVs at 1:30. At best we can only put different AFVs (like a 1:30 figarti Panzer IV with a 1:30 FL Panzer III) for comparison

FL seems to be in a league of its own.......This is a very difficult issue.......

There is NO DOUBT their figures are the smallest of the major 1/30th Manufacturers.

First Legion figures "are indeed" TRUE 1:30th scale... Other maunfacturers with the exception of Figarti claim that they are producing 1:30th scale but they are NOT......I will agree that First Legion is in a league of their own.....NO DOUBT...the Best Sculpted and Painted WWII figures out there today {sm4}{sm4}

Yawn yawn here we go can't have a FL discussion without the blah blah blah....................:D

Wayne..

No mate seems we can't!!!!

Blah...FL... figures all look like they married a cousin but, nicely painted.... Blah... Figarti... sneeze and the paint drops off... but, the AFV's are great Blah... K&C... still won't release a sturmtiger and I don't like the stuff around the tracks but, make nice stuff... Blah... CS.... scale is all over the place, price is great, and innovation is great..... Blah everyone else is also making decent stuff... Blah blah blah (was that not the start of a nursery rhyme???

Disclaimer:

In no way should TG fans take umbridge at the fact that they were not mentioned in the main text they also make great figures and AFV's

Carry on with the scale thread guys I am really enjoying some of the comments.

It seems this invariably happens and then we are subjected to the usual propaganda instead of a candid conversation. Approaching any discussion of FL vs. any thing else fills most of us with dread and brings to mind the phrase "Abandon all hope ye who enter here."

Or, ''cast ye pearls'' comes to mind

Yes indeed, its the sign over the entrance to the London Dungeon, also full of pain and torment!:wink2:

Since we are quoting homilies or such, you may want to read the True Believer by Eric Hoffer, a book I read in high school but still apropos today it seems.
