Figarti Westcoaster 2012 (1 Viewer)

Joe, thanks for posting all these wonderful pictures. Figarti has some real spectacular releases. Love the Stuka and the Mk.4. -- Al

The T-34 looks fantastic. That's the pick of this group. The Stuka looks great, but it looks enormous to me. Maybe it's just the picture. And I agree the figures are still mediocre.

While the Figarti products were superior once again, I must admit that I missed the discussion group that had been a keynote of the West Coaster over the past few years. But even the best of teams must take a break and rebuild now and then. Perhaps next year, which will be the evw of the WW1 Centenarry.

The figures still need improvement. The T-34 and the stuka look great. I could use a little more weathering on aircrafts, oil stains, bullet holes ect.

No real shock and awe piece? The Stuka looks great and is an interesting version. I am a little disappointed by the figures and the horses on the supply wagon. No doubt the AFV's look great but work needs to be done on the animal and human subject matter.

Joe, thanks for taking the time to take these photos and post them. :smile2:

Thanks again for the great job.
The Stuka looks tremendous and I'm glad I pre-ordered my T34 already!

No need to thank me guys for the pics...It's really my pleasure...it's all about the passion for the hobby. But since you did, you are all very welcome (notascoldasbastogne, sentaapua, Brad [thanks for letting me know the package arrived; I sent an email], blue max, panzerAce1944, Wayne [when I saw the Stuak I thought, OMG...Wayne is gonna #@%&!!!!], Mitch, Lanser, Jeff & jbonzo1). Glad you all enjoyed the pics.

It was such a great time. As always, it was so much fun for me and my wife to get to chat with Peter. He was so very excited about all of the new releases, as I was! He's doing a great job manning the Figarti ship. Rick wasn't there this year, and I missed him, but his father James was there for part of the show, but unfortunately, I missed him. So much excitement, so many great folks to catch up with...just a whirlwind of fun activity.

Again, I'd like to thank Peter for everything he and the Figarti does for this wonderful hobby of ours. Like Lancer said, I'm hoping next year Figarti brings back the annual show event. That was the only thing missing from their stellar presence.

Oh, by the way, for those who have not picked up the set yet featuring the three seated winter Germans (ETG-076 I think it is), two of whom are sleeping...you might want to put that one on your list. When I saw it, I knew I had to have it and grabbed it right away. It's a very well done, creative and versatile set, IMHO.

Joe

Great job joe. Thanks for the coverage, and omg a "stuka" and a t34/85. Unbelievable. Thanks rick and peter

Several people have commented on this thread that the figures for Figarti need improvement.
As a one time huge fan of Figarti I have stopped buying their product for the simple reason there figures just don,t compare with other companies. How long have they been doing this? The old excuse was they are new, give them time.
Well if they can,t get it right by now, I don,t think they ever will.
Just my opinion.

Gary..

I think you are right and, believe they are satisfied with where they are!!!!!

While it is true that Figarti figures are not as good as they could be, they are light years ahead of some competitors in WWII AFV's..... With the exception of FL there has been noticeable decreases in the quality of scuplts and painting in regards to WII figures produced elsewhere (Less for More$).....At least Figarti continues to improve in their area of excellence WWII.....That being AFV's, Artillery, and now 1:30th scale planes....also they have maintained a fair price point in these areas....Overall this company deserves applause for the effort.....Well done Figarti.

Wayne,

I had actually posted (in a Figarti thread I think about a year so ago) a photo of some FL Stalingrad figures next to a Figarti Russian tank and in scale they were a perfect match. I think this was verified by Frank and Terry.
