Isn't that the truth![]()
Just a final point about colour I also (hopefully by now) know what is right and wrong in camo colours for german stuff and, this in the flesh is not too bright its a nice matted dull tone. Could it have a little weathering well yes but, it does not need much. Yes FL have a 150cm cannon coming out, yes, Figarti have 88mm Flak guns out and coming but, they are different versions of german artillerie and, this version of the Flak gun was completely different with different colour ways and, at the start of this thread having seen many pics and built this one in kit form the camo scheme is very good and very realistic based on this version which, K&C have visited IMO.

Sad, Sad world with no color. And its perfect. Just kinda tells you the mentality of a person, That says that.
LOL LOL....Please don't make me laugh....I grew up with Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color
.....Color is a wonderful thing when done right
....if you like it buy it
Ok Frank, we get it, you're passing on the K & C 88 because the colors don't look right to you, the price doesn't work for you and you don't like it.
You've made your point very clear.
As in crystal.
Afew years from now when these are long gone and they are going for big bucks on the secondary market, don't have a meltdown over it, we all know how torked off you get when collectors sell retired K & C sets for big money.
Just warning you now so you don't blow a head gasket, a valve and a johnson rod........

Guys...
This was delivered today and put into a temporary dio until the main one for it is done.
I have to say, that many said it was very expensive with seperate figures etc and that detail looked poor but, the quality and size is amazing IMO. The figures are very large and heavy with brilliant detail and, very good winter camo painting. the gun itself, well.. its amazing well made and well coloured and very well detailed.
The art work on the box for those who like the full package is excellent and well presented. so, if your on the fence about this set I would definately say get it before its gone.

Well, Said. And If Brad is talking about The Philly game, Sunday. That was a total meltdown by NY. Or Michael Vick is that good![]()

What is a Johnson rod. Is there one on the flak gun.
I believe George is referring to an episode of Seinfeld where, the character ironically named George, is talking about cars and mentions a "Johnson rod"- it is a fictious part of a car. The dialogue is centered around mechanics taking advantage of people who do not know anything about cars.
