Last week for my birthday, in addition to other nice gifts and well wishes, I also received 3 Treefrog gift certificates. It didn't take me long to decide how I wanted to spend them. This afternoon K&K 189SE, Bell HU-1D Iroquois USMC Troop Carrier "HUEY' was delivered (#88 out of 200 made).

It fits nicely on a 24-inch shelf which will be it's new display area. I'm thinking about a medi-vac diorama since the cabin interior is designed for cargo or stretcher litters. Another winter project in the works.

THX Robin. This was a true work horse for the Marines. I am very pleased with it. Another nostalgic piece for me having taken more than a few rides in these.
