Forthcoming and third Dispatches of 2012 (2 Viewers)

I thought that rather large Luftwaffe Guard from Hogan’s Hero’s (i forgot his name) was also renowned for saying "I know nothing..."!

Tom

Oh yes please. I'ld love to see a "Feldwebel Schulz" in my collection!{sm3}

I hope to see the Normandy version of the Sd. Kfz. 234/1 Schwerer Panzerspahwagen in next month's releases.

OD

Superb scene OD, really good. I've never considered this series but it sure looks good.

Never seen Hogans Hero's Tom, but it does appear popular!.

These Russian releases are going to go down very well indeed I suspect, lots of people been asking for them since the last were retired and I'm guessing K&C will come up trumps as usual. I'm really pleased for the Eastern front collectors amongst us, I've just got to make a decision when we see the new releases as to whether to dip my toe and divert funds or stay on track and not get distracted, this TS collecting really takes strategy doesn't it!^&grin:wink2:

Will look out for it Wayne^&cool

So apart from that aircraft...whats its name...rhymes with Luka...:wink2: What else would you like to see for your German forces Wayne, still love to see an AK 88 w/crew in long overcoats.

Rob

KV-1 would be very nice, was a mean looking Russian tank.

I would also like to see more RAF or USAAF, and maybe a USN or Marine pilot.

As for myself as a mostly NAP collector, I,m not expecting anything for a while.

But I do believe WWII Buff has hit upon something of interest for me down the road. As a Fighter Squadron/Carrier sailor during Vietnam, I would definitely enjoy some Pacific US Navy/Marine pilots. It would be incredible to see a Gordon partial carrier deck dio piece, maybe a section with the island in it, providing enough room for an F6F Hellcat or F4U Corsair. Additional sections of flight deck could be made, sold separately.

Then try to imagine the color of the flight deck crews: Yellow shirt/cloth helmet Plane Directors; Blue Plane Handlers, Green Aviation Mechanics, airframers, tweaks(radioman), parashoot riggers,; Purple Fuelers; Red ordnance men hanging and fusing bombs, or loading ammo; and a Brown Plane Captain strapping in a Pilot, or in front of the plane going through pre-flight hand signals with the pilot.

It makes me drool. :D

Well, that's my inflated 2 cents ^&grin

For me the guess is the cwt truck in British normandy colours, and the Canadian armoured car which featured in Gordon's diorama, and maybe some other bits and bobs of British Normandy items, 25lb would be great!:wink2: Would love to see some tank riders and some Guards Armoured Division Infantrymen walking and in combat poses!^&grinand I believe that since the cromwell is gone we may see additions to the normandy armour and thus the cwt truck and armoured car guess!^&grin I would also like to see some arnhem paras but they haven't been mentioned in a long while!:redface2::(

Safe to say something in that lot will appear in the summer :wink2:

Some preannounced items we haven't seen yet include the Desert Bowser, Normandy Morris, Soviets and those German WWI airplanes. Perhaps a desert Kittyhawk is in the works too. I'd be looking for some of these items and a surprise or two along the way very soon. ;)

That all sounds most welcome CFM, especially looking forward to that Normandy Morris and any other Normandy item that may arrive in the summer. The big question is, what will be in dispatches and what will be at the Westcoaster? Lots to look forward to, got to love collecting K&C!:smile2:{bravo}}{sm4}

I would love to see some new Naps: Grenadiers a Cheval, some new Brit cavalry, new Redcoat regiment and the Rifle Brigade^&grin. Some AWI would be nice too{sm4} . Most likely I am guessing LAH maybe some WS and D-Day for good measure.

Re: Forthcoming and Third Dispatches of 2012

Hi Guys,

Sadly 90% of the guesswork on this thread is considerably “off-the-mark” by a wide margin.

This is not to put any of you off speculating but most of what you wish to see is what you personally want for your own collection.

When K&C put together our release schedule for the entire year we use a combination of actual sales figures… dealer feedback… overall collectors’ preferences and… our own got instincts based on almost 30 years of running a successful business.

Sometimes we got it wrong but most of the time, I’m happy to say, we get it reasonably right.

Forums like this tend to be dominated by a relatively small but vocal selection of the collector fan base who have very definite ideas of what they want and when they want it. Whilst this is undoubtedly useful it is by no means the only criteria by which K&C makes its commercial decisions.

That may be why a few dozen collectors may be disappointed when “DISPATCHES” eventually comes out but hundreds of others are happily surprised!

Hope this helps… best wishes and happy collecting,
Andy

Andy,
Half the fun is guessing what you guys come up with each month, what ever it is , most are happy. I know that 90% of the time you will release figures I want.

Don't worry Mitch - your guesses might be the ten percent that are right!

acw hessians - I knew it {sm4}

I'm hoping for some news regarding the Pirate Junk that Andy spoke of late last year. Not expecting it to be released so soon, but it would be nice to know if the prototypes he received indicated that it was a viable proposition and whether it will be going into production this year or not.
