I could too, Wayne.....a period of a lifetime!!:p:)

I too agree that the price is very fair indeed.

I think these will be very popular so long as they are not limited runs as then they will only be available to a select few. Its not a bad price overall

Personally, I would concentrate on getting the engine and wanted cars, and then buy G-Scale accessories and buildings from hobby shops. My guess is that they might cost considerably less...Michael

FYI - "G Scale" will not work.. G-scale is 1/25.. Though the G-scale track size is a little different,, that might work.. "1 GAUGE" is 1/32 scale.. 1 Gauge accessories should work better..

Sorry have to disagree with you there, it depends on the item. I have many friend who use G scale stuff with their layouts and they look just fine. It is a matter of finding the right item.

Maybe thats true, but on paper, LGB is 1/25... Besides, much of the LGB items are not very realistic looking.. You will find "most" of the LGB items will be too big..

Rob you hit the nail on the head...That's exactly my view...It's a beautiful series at a good price...Most of us will need some time to add to it and complete it....Hopefully it will not be so limited so as to have difficulty completing the set...(PS I am a train buff...1:48 scale O gauge)

I remember when I first decided to cross over from building 1/35th scale models and entered this hobby. A nice kit with about 5 soldiers was about $15.00 or so.

I was drooling over K&C's Bulge Paratroopers. Built and painted, but around $100. Could I sustain this hobby. It surly didn't look like it.

And now who would have ever thought there would be so much to select from. I guess I would consider all of the manufacturers prices reasonable. I just have not been able to buy any First Legion at $50 a pop. I hope Figarti in their Alliance with Areoart can produce the excellent quality of First Legion at a better price.

Somehow I have sustained......But I sold some HO Trains and 1/6 scale soldiers to fund my 1/30th addiction. Alex

I agree.. When soldiers hit around $50 a pop, or AFV's are $300, that is just too much for most people.. I applaud FIGARTI for doing this Reichsbahn set at a decent price
