And some wonderful fake blood injuries,it must have been so obvious when that guy walked off spewing 'blood' but they wouldn't let him near the doctor!.

With the above,Renault faking accidents in F1,Horse doping, steroids in the tiddlywinks Olympics,is no sport safe from cheating!

Yes Wayne,i'm afraid a huge percentage of this country is obsessed with the 'other' game;).Cricket clearly is the better sport, its a real shame as the county game seems to be in decline as twenty twenty is on the up.

Cricket may be the better sport to you Rob, but Soccer/Football is far more popular on a global basis. I am not a fan of either of the two sports but imo 90 minutes of Soccer is preferable to a series of dragged out Cricket matches.

Setting your recent Ashes victory aside, do you think public interest in Cricket is waning in the UK? I ask this because over the past decade Cricket has been in decline in Australia with our major Commercial TV channels dropping Cricket coverage in favor of other sports.

Without doubt Oz.The one day games have not attracted much attention and the traditional county games are under threat because of dwindling attendences, its a shame but it does appear the game is in decline. The Ashes are easily the most popular Cricket event and 20/20 is proving popular.

Football is as you say much much bigger and at times it does seem like the country is obsessed with it,i enjoy the world cup but club football is not for me.
