Gettysburg 157 Anniversary Dios (1 Viewer)

Chris,

Yes, like the Iron Brigade. I like the second group shoring up the line. By the way, someone left the barn door open.

The Irish Bgde engages Kershaw's 7th South Carolina on the second day.

At the bottom of the barrel of Gettysburg displays now. Have other dios but different battles. Thanks for the comments and like votes. Very much appreciated. Chris

Chris,

Your dioramas are fantastic, as is your photography.:salute:: I am a big fan of Ken Osen's work (and of Ken and Erika, they are good friends).

Stellar work concealing the bases, Chris, and all-round great looking diorama!

Chris...
your collection is as amazing as your diorama scenes...

Thank you Mike, we stand together in our study of the ACW. Chris

Chris,

Your dio's continue to fascinate and impress! Great job.

I particularly like how well you got the cotton shredded/thinned to appear as gun fire.

I never attempted to do that in any of my dio's as it looks like a very tedious and frustrating process but yours is as good as anything I've ever seen.

Great stuff! Ken has sculpted so many great figures. Your composition and photography work showcase them really well. I like the feeling I get from someone enjoying their collection. :smile2: Thanks for sharing,

Joe

Thanks Mark, it's a little difficult to balance the "smoke" on the rifles. Sometimes use a little tacky wax. Chris

Thanks Joe, WB makes the best ACW figs IMO, certainly at the best price point on the market. And I have enjoyed collecting and displaying these over the yrs. Chris

The 2nd Wisconsin advances into the Herbst Woods and meets Archer's Brigade. Chris

Hi Chris, just catching up with all the posts after being out of action for 6 weeks. Fantastic pictures of your dios, all. This Union battle line is my favorite, brilliant blending of the figures, action, and background. The atmosphere of this sequence just puts me in the action and I can feel the July heat as well. Really fine work.:salute:: -- Al

Your photos remind me of UKReb's photos, and that is a compliment, trust me!:salute::

Thank you Al. And welcome back, you were missed. Chris

I don't go into the WB thread very much but kinda glad I did. These are stunning dioramas and so beautifully photographed. I have a large ACW collection back in Kiwiland and I hope one day to display it once more. These pictures have certainly inspired me. Thanks for sharing.

Looking thru the archives and found some pics depicting the 20th Maine and 15th Alabama fighting for the Little Round Top or Sugar Loaf Hill.
