Guys, name your worst films! (1 Viewer)

Again more than fair Bill.;)I apologise if my use of the word crap offended, there is a slightly different meaning between the UK and US versions I think.Over here its not really seen as quite such a ****ing term as it might be stateside. If you have a 'pretty crap' morning its not as bad as saying 'my morning was s***!.Are you still with me here Bill;):D

Right, I think so; now I just can't understand why you Brits don't speak proper English?;):D Personally, I think my language is degenerating the more I watch Malcolm Tucker: "How much sex, violence, and profanity are in this movie? ...":D

:D and if you've ever tried to make sense of Cockney!

In one episode Tuckers apprentice threatens to do something eye wateringly painful with a senior advisor's ipod. The detailed explanation of how he would go about it is jaw dropping in its unpleasantness:eek::eek:.You have to sit and wonder who comes up with this stuff!:D

I like comic books movies. I just have low expectations as far as story goes, so if it doesn't live up to them, it's pretty sad.

I was extremely disappointed by Transformers, so much so that I didn't bother to see the second one. They seemed to rely so much on effects that they didn't bother to think much about a story.

The Star Wars prequels were an abomination. I can't watch them. I found the acting, directing, and casting to be sub par. (This is said by one who grew up with all the toys, a fan club member and made a friend angry because I could quote Jabba the Hutt better than he.)

Though I never actually saw it, I imagine Snakes on a Plane would top the list. It looks ridiculous.

Seagal and Van Damme movies aren't watched for their intricate plots and superior acting. :D

A Walk in the Clouds with Keanu Reeves. If you took it seriously, it was horrible. If you didn't it was really funny.

Rob said "I defy you to find a redeeming scene in 'Mamma Mia'"

Well I think the scene where Pierce Brosnan starts singing is not bad as it was unexpected.

The final scenes during the credits (I doubt Rob got this far) where the main actors are singing is also great fun.

All I will say on Kelly's Heroes is that Tom has excellent taste :D:D

Brett

For me that I can think of are the SW prquels, IMO there are only 3 Star Wars, Return of the Jedi and The Empire Strikes Back. The originals also and not the ones that were enhanced.

Also for me is Avatar, and all I have seen is the trailers. I think it looks to be the dumbest movie ever made and will not even watch it once it makes it's way to network TV !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By comparison, the Star War "Prequels" are rather sad. They had very little of the magic of the first three that so captured our imaginations. I respectfully disagree about the enhancements, expect for Han shooting second, that was just silly.

I must confess that by Bob's and Tom's criteria, I did enjoy the first two of the Prequels for what they offered in shear entertainment; despite their many, many deficiencies. I rate the third at a much lower level (with some truly painful acting) but it did have some decent light saber duels.

Absolutely agree, though as a Star Wars grown up, I still loved them!

Rob, you have now offended me to the point of no return on KH:p:p

By the way, my KH tank is in the planning stages, with complete figures as well as a jeep carrying the General (O'Connor), I will be sure to have 2 commissioned so that one can be a Xmas gift for you next year!!!!!!!!!
