I want to give this (MIB) Hudson & Allen Damaged Factory Building away to a fellow treefroger under this condition...they tell me why they think they should be chosen as the recipient (let's have some fun with this)? ^&grin

I'm getting rid of this as I have a definitive answer now on our move date of April. My display ideas have went from really big, to a more civil size. It is a wonderful piece with no flaws and comes with an extra H&A bag of urban debris. It was signed by Ken "to me" and about 20 treefrogger's who agreed to have me include their names too. I'm somewhat embarrased to be selling it now after the big signature event and all but my desires and needs have changed...someone else here will enjoy it very much nevertheless~and even more so because it's absolutely free!

Markey...

you make me proud to be part of this forum...such a generous offer...you are being just too cool...

I don't collect anything that would go with this beautiful structure...but I'm sure the guy that gets it will appreciate it...

you are a very generous guy!!!

whoever gets Ken's beautiful piece...you're a very lucky guy!!!

Markey...you're a Prince!!!

For fun I'm following up with this post for the wise guy who says he should be the recipient because he is the first to respond...now you can't say that one!:rolleyes2:

FOLLOW UP TO WHAT I JUST SAID/POSTED...
Hey Mike...your really fast...NO FAIR!!! I will have to put you down for a candidate now?

Yes we will finally be moving! The builder gave us notice they will be finished in April...were very excited! I would like to attend the Westcoaster again but need to remain focused on all that is involved with the transition. I have inquired about mall space in Hawaii for the possible new and only Maui toy soldier shop (Alekona Toy Soldiers). Of course if things work out as planned you will all know & hear about this shop here on TF.

BY THE WAY CONTESTANTS NEED TO POST HERE ON THE FORUM THEIR REASON'S FOR BEING A POSSIBLE RECIPIENT...not by PM, as it needs to be fun and interesting for all:smile2:

Couldn't agree more Bren and if you do win the factory, i reckon you'll squeeze into it comfortably as it's bloody huge! I haven't got one by the way Markeymaker, but i do have the smokestack and factory ruin and they are big enough!

Well I would Love to have that-
1. I have the room to use it,
2. I have enough matte WW1 Germans, British, WW2 Germans, British(Canadian), and US Figures to do a nice rotation display in my Den with this as a Centerpiece.
3. Would be a great surprise on my return from mission to have that great box , along with all of the other things I am ordering while away, and not home to intercept. I could honestly tell my wife that the biggest box was a prize!
(4. I would only hope that sum volume of all my other mail orders would be less than the box this would arrive in- when you get in this deep, everything in your defence helps!! )

I would use it in several WWII Eastern Front diorama scenes and post the pics here on Treefrog, along with thanking you each and every time.........^&grin

Grant,

I'm ruling you out for your own good...I want you to remain married upon your return and telling her the biggest box is a prize is soooo potential of a divorce in the making:rolleyes:

Any treefroggers out there who can help , just need to find 90kg of Maui wowie for Markey,s stability test ha ha :rolleyes2: {sm4}

Hi ,
Here's my bid.
I have tried to paint my own buildings but due to some nerve damage from the marines I cannot hold a brush still enough. Having to buy all my buildings pre painted is expensive and leaves me out of some of the fun of the hobby, ( thanks to the help on the forum thou I have made grass and such for tables )

Also I will donate 100 to the wounded warrior project for the building as well
Regardless who wins amazing thing you are doing .
( for moving to Maui , you suck ) LOL
Thanks

My two cents about this thread: I think you should have to make it not why you deserve it but why someone else deserves it, i.e., you can't vote for yourself.

I would vote to give it to Frank (fmethorst) because he's a big WW II collector and shoots the best photos of WW II scenes, as well being one heck of a nice guy. You know that he would make the best use of the building and we would be the recipient of his wonderfully staged photos.

Auction it on here and, give the money to a good cause. We all seem to be doing well so, helping those less fortunate than guys who have cash to blow on TS when others are struggling for food seems a good move

Mitch,
I kind thought and a good idea but the item is already a planned give-away. I will work on providing something in addition for a future auction for such a cause...are there other's who could, or would be willing to participate, such as manufactures, or members. Maybe we can make this a rather big event???

Brad,
I agree I like this idea! So from here on out let's adjust it both ways, personal reason's, or other's who deserve it...maybe the board itself can vote who get's it...can we make a poll, is this possible???

Wow Mark,
I have always thought this to be an exceptional pivotal piece. It is beautiful. You are very generous and some one of us will be very happy! Just a super cool piece crafted by a master.

I think any of us would be lucky to have it!
Very nice,
Tom
