p.s found a couple of spent 60x40 bofor shells a while back while walking the dog through scrub maybe i can swap these for the damaged factory. ^&grin

I think this has got to the point where that if you ask for it for yourself you sound selfish.
Donating it or funds to a charity should be optional IMO,why do you need this to donate to a charity,if you feel so strong about a certain charity just donate.
I reckon it should go to a collector on here who IMO deserves it and that winner doesn't have to donate to a charity he can simply enjoy it,don't get me wrong i donate to certain charities because i want to,not because i feel i have to.
Hope this makes sense personally i think you should of either flogged it on eBay or auctioned it on here and then you could of donated the proceeds to your chosen charity.
Who ever wins this is a lucky person but i can't think of one person on here who deserves it more than anyone of us,good luck finding a winner.

I have chose Beaufighter as the recipient of this wonderful piece. Marc has time and time again proven his friendship, which I know stretches across the forum. I really wasn't expecting the winner to be someone who never asked for it, though as the years have progressed, I have always looked up to Marc as someone who is considerate and thoughtful of other's. Even though he never mentioned why he should recieve it, I respect his interest in donation. As the years count down it would be neat if Marc moved this piece to another frogger with the same conditions...wonder how far it would get? Nevertheless, enjoy this piece Marc and thank you for being a considerate and thoughtful guy since the first day I came aboard!

Marc is a phenomenal choice. He is one of the nicest guys in the hobby (not to mention he knows more about planes than most Boeing engineers). Beyond all that, he is a top notch collector whose appreciation of all the manufactures is reflected in his collection.

If you were going to give this to the forum member with the biggest heart, I am pretty sure you found him.

WOW...on so many accounts! Might not have seen this thread for another day or so if it was not for a 'heads-up/check your six" email. Had to read this twice as it was completely unexpected. Markey, a sincere thank you for such a kind gesture but more importantly, your posting above. I was also taken back by all of the nice comments from my Treefrog Forum friends-I was really caught off guard by all of this. In short, thank you all especially Markey as he started this whole "Operation Pay It Forward" maneuver. I must say that I do not feel deserving of this spectacular gift, but I will do my best to display it and share the photographs here on TF Forum. I have some more upcoming repairs on my "fuselage" which will give me some time to plan something out & ultimately start the diorama construction project. It was Carlos aka desk11desk12 who has repeatedly reminded me to "keep playing with the troops" as they always help cure trying times and are instant mood elevators. Of course, he is spot on with that, which is why I will always be involved with this hobby. Looks like I am just a diorama away from having yet another great day then! Markey, I will send you a personal thanks later too!

What a kind offer, the generosity of members of this forum amazes me. I know if I was given this building me and my son would have hours of fun when he's a bit older playing toy soldiers.

If we are nominating members it would have to be Iona or Wraith, both are complete gentlemen and would love this piece.
