Happy Birthday Cobber. I'm not sure how your family will top Chicago but I'm sure they'll succeed.

You've still got a few years on me :)

Happy birthday, Cobber!:) I emailed you a little update earlier, hope you enjoy it.

John, John and Alby and others,
You may be wondering what Howard got himself for his birthday.

Now between you and me. don't tell him I told you, but I have very reliable information that he was so impressed with Chicago he bought the Hotel !!!

Hotel de Lille that is from Ken of Hudson and Allen (see Ken's thread). He did mention he was very impressed with Ken's diorama items.

Seems he had a great time in Chicago and met a great bunch of people, which will come as no surprise.

The big question is which of his many troops will get to play with the Hotel.

As I said don't tell him I told you !

Regards
Brett

Brett,

I wonder what he will do with such a piece... you can't put OZ Lighthorse around that... those troopers would drink it dry....... maybe he needs some civilized Napoleonics to have a quiet drop of Bordeaux or Chablis ? :) :)

I think WW1 would go nice.... but NOT the WW2 Boche :( .... or the trigger happy Yanks :( they will both destroy it, so you better warn him :)

Now that he owns a Hotel, I'm sure we can all drop in for a drink if we are passing by this door.....

John

Obee,
I think WWI French would be most appropriate (with the German around the other side) but I guess he can always rotate his figures.
Decisions, decisions.
Regards
Brett
