A very quiet day was had at home with the GLW as our State of Victoria is still in lock down and family and friends were not able to come around to home or I was not able to attend my local watering hole for one or two or three cold ones with some digger mates.
My Good Lady Wife and I discuss where we should have been if the plans we made in February of this year had come good and not a Covid virius.
Last week we would have travelled to the U.S. and visited LA then onto San Antonio and then a week in Chicago for the 40th Anniv. of the TS Show. This week just gone we would have planned to visit Washington DC, Gettysburg, Philly, Boston and down to Jacksonville, Florida to catch up with my good mate young Tim Tyler and his GLW Melissa. It would have been great to catch up with old mates and enjoy a cold one with George, Louis, Tom, Mikes x 2, Jason, Carlos, etc.
Leaving in a few days time for a week or two in the Mother Country and doing a trip around Scotland and Ireland which we missed in 2013, touring only England and Wales. Maybe catching up with Rob, Martyn, Jeff and all the other crew that drank me under the table in 2013. Finishing the run home to OZ via Hong Kong to catch up with young Andy.
We now can only dream of what may have happened.{sm4}
