Now the modelling is progressing, it's lost it's Roman look now for sure.
But it's looking very good for what you were after. Kind of reminds me of the old Coaching Inn from "The Pickwick Papers" !

just finished the building, it was very funny to arrange for all the little details. Cheers

Excellent !

You are correct on the "details"...Roof tiles, exposed brick, doors...all wonderful.

Congratulations.

Thank you for posting.

Certainly a terrific job you've done. What did you use for the roof tiles / shingles ?

many thanks for your kind comments and likes, thank you Mike, Ivanhoe, Robin, Steve, Let's go and Chris.
Steve, for the roof I use small pieces of cardboard, a long but promising job.
Cheers

just speaking about Roman buildings I have undertaken the building of a Gate. The architect used a spare column to support the arch.

You certainly have a talent for producing quality buildings Carlo. Regards Greg.

Interesting construction project Carlo. Looks like it has already seen conflict in the distant past and then repaired with what was to hand, as you do see today in some ancient buildings which have undergone repair at a later era to which they were originally constructed in.
So I could quite well imagine your gate manned by some Byzantine or Crusader troops !

Look forward to seeing the on going work and the completed project. Well done !

Steve

Very appropriate given all the Roman releases. This will fit well with collectors Carlo. Robin.

Love the Roman Fort/building. One of these days or more likely one of these years, I may get close to your skill level. Thanks as always for posting.

Steve

That’s really looking good! I’m so jealous of the talent some people on here have!
