Livia, serve the Centurion says the genial host....

Oh Marcus, says the Livia to the Centurion, why have you come back after all these years !?

I recognised you straight away Livia, says the Centurion, where's our Son ?

Fill in what happens next yourselves ! ^&grin

OMG, hilarious….

….how about “he’s out campaigning with Spartacus”

No, I'm Spartacus !

Or how about..... Oh Dylan, Dylan is in advertising, something to do with beer I think !

The Cobblers Wife couldn't believe her ears, of what she was overhearing as she fetched the family dinner, oh the sheer pleasure she felt knowing the latest gossip...

Hurrying back to tell her husband she saw he was busy and her tattling would have to wait !

You are working these figures very nicely Steve. A pleasure to watch. Robin.

Cheers Robin :salute::

These Roman common people are quite fun and I hope to buy some more as the range progresses, though I'm sure there are those who would prefer Senators and Emperors or following TG's example at the Slave Market, at the Baths or at the games, perhaps K&C could take on Chariot races, Ben Hur style, would be fun, though not my interests or pocket !

Excellent idea for a story line Steve, nice one mate :salute::

Hope Guildford won't be to affected by the M25 closure this weekend......I'm sure the residents of Byfleet and West Byfleet will be {eek3}^&confuse

All the best

Hopefully this new line by Andy and K&C will be good sellers and the line will carry on expanding and allowing for all sorts of scenarios to be made, at the moment we're just getting glimpses of what may be possible.
Yes the work that's going on and closing the M25 is sure to catch a lot of people out who pay no attention to lhe news !
Could rant on about that, such as all the fools in London waving terrorists flags and blocking the streets !

Sabina, The Cobblers wife, full of herself is disappointed to hear the gossip being spread by Lucilla the Bakers wife, robbing Plotilla, mother of Marcus of her breathe, not knowing of her only Son's return !

DSCF1503.JPG

But not to be out done, Sabina slips in as soon as Lucilla departs the table and adds her own tidbits to the tale.

And there folks I leave you. Perhaps someone else would like to fill us in on the last scene !?

More glimpses of life in the first century A.D. another time ! {eek3}^&grin

I’m not so interested in the soap opera, but more how realistically you captured the look of an authentic Roman Thermopolium or tavern…
Awesome work, Horus 😎

Cheers tman !
The Soap Opera was only a way of trying to show a Roman scene, the story line I created to go with the scenes, I couldn't give a Tuppence for !
I like these, this new sub range of Romans, and hopefully enough other collectors will also enjoy the range enough to give it life by buying !
If not, like other ranges in the past it will move in with the inactive lines.

Steve, combined with some some naughty TGM figures you could produce some 'Up Pompeii' style scenes :wink2:

I love the scenes. I always figured the storyline was just for laughs.
Keep it up!

Ha ! Yes a Lurcio figure would fit in nicely ^&grin

Yes some Up Pompeii type dioramas would be fun, let's see what Andy comes out with in this new sub range.
