Thanks Brad!:smile2: Please don't appologize for the short delay . . . having no power due to an October blizzard is always an acceptable explanation for a delay!^&grin

The Whippet arrived today, as did another Heco item . . . waiting on a couple of more, photos to follow upon receipt.:wink2:

I just picked up a Heco R.A.M.C. field hospital set up, consisting of a flying ambulance with pilot, a motor ambulance, a stretcher team with wounded patient, a medical tent, a patient in a camp bed, a stove, cook sergeant (master gyppo) and table laden with food for the patients. ^&cool^&cool I have photos of this, and the Whippet tank, but considering poor Brad is without power, they will have to wait.:redface2:

Brad's power is back, so I just him 4 photos of the Heco R.A.M.C. Mobile Field Hospital set up, with a polite request that he post them on this thread.:smile2:

Gorgeous Heco additions, Louis. That ambulance and Whippet tank are just outstanding. Beginning to look like a new wing at Museum Badolato will have to be opened for The Heco Collection.^&cool -- Al

The hospital set up arrived today, and it looks great! I will take some photos, but not today, I am hanging out with my houseguest, John Jenkins . . . :wink2:

I bought pieces 89 and 90 for my collection today, a shot down Sopwith Camel, with the top wing knocked off, the engine hanging out of the nose, and bits of the fuselage torn away revealing the skeleton underneath, as well as a 1:64 scale Red Baron DR1 Triplane to go with my son's 1:64 scale Heco Sopwith Camel. Heco made several pieces in 1:64 scale for collectors who lacked room to display 1:32 scale models, including a barrage balloon, a barrage balloon hanger, an aircraft hanger, nissen huts, several aircraft, and even tiny 1:64 scale pilots and ground crew. I have a 1:64 scale tinplate WWI Zeppelin which I think is Heco, but have been unable to confirm one way or the other.

Just purchased the 91st and 92nd Heco items for my collection: Royal Flying Corps Tractor pulling a large fuel tank with standing driver figure and Rolls Royce Armored Car with three man crew loading supplies, spare tires, etc.

I sent Brad some photos of my newest acquisitions, with a polite request that he post them on this thread.:smile2:

Martyn,

I know you did (you sent me a PM or an e-mail), and I posted a thank you for your efforts on this thread a while back. There are a lot of great guys on this forum who have helped out other forum members over the years, and you are one of the best of them!:smile2:

Thanks again for taking the time to ask.

Louis

I must be out of my mind, but I just purchased three more incredible Heco Tinplate items for my collection, including a Zulu War Heliograph Tower diorama with the heliograph tower, an adjacent camp with tent, campfire with cook pot, ammunition box and three figures (which matches my other half of the heliograph team with the telescope receiving the signals), as well as a # 65 AA 4.7 gun and # 72 Quick Firing 12 pounder AA gun with 2 man crew.
