Thanks Brendan. That's about half of my collection. In the same room the area not shown includes a 6-foot JJD USS Bunker Hill aircraft carrier display as well as a stand alone book shelf with my FL and WP WWII German Armor and infantry sets. I have another room on the other side of the basement that has four 6-foot x 3-foot display tables.

Mike, you sure are lucky to have that much display area.

I'm curious as to why you decided to mount your shelves on the wall rather than the ground. Are you concerned about possible flooding in your basement?

Oz . . . As requested, photos of my wall mounted shelves. They were intended to be used as a closet organizer system called Easy Track. Step #1 you anchor a steel flange or "cleat" on the wall at the height you want. When assembled, the entire shelf unit hangs from this cleat. The cleat is visible on the top shelf. White plastic sleeves were provided to camo the steel. Step #2 you hang the side walls on the cleat. Step #3 you attach the tops and bottoms to the side walls with wood screws and use white plugs to camo the screw heads. Step #4 place shelves at desired heights. Total length for one unit is 8 feet (2.44 meters) divided into two 3 foot sections and one 2 foot section in between them. I have two 8-foot sections connected together by a corner unit section. Hope this and the photos help.

Thank you Matt. No real particular reason why I mounted the shelves on the wall. Certainly not from a concern about flooding. I believe at the time the design I chose was what was offered at the DIY store that I purchased the shelving system from.
